Yea I only know of two other people that have plugs, and another that pretty much copied the fact that I had them (but that's his problem) oh and I also love the smell of my own ear cheese

But here's a little fun fact: piercers, and body mod enthusiasts usually get pissed when people call them "gauges" and say they should only be called "plugs" I'm not entirely sure why, and personally I dont care what you call them, but the girl who pierced my eyebrow through a fit when another dude called them gauges

Atleast mine dont.
Theres a cream here for babies rash,that ppl with big gauges use.
We put it once a day in the lobe and it doesnt smell the whole day,even if your wearing steal.
Its called Bépanthene Plus.


PS- I the smelly cheese of my ears!! Sometimes i miss it when im with acrylic jewelry for too long...

Ok,let me clarify some facts here.Im not smarter than anyone,but i happen to work in the tattoo/piercing world its gonna be 11 years now.

First GAUGE is a measure unit,just like centimeters.

PLUGS its a kind of jewelry,for bigger gauges; just like Flesh Tunnels.Except tunnels(like the name sais)have a hole in the middle.

Sleeves is what you call when you have a whole tattooed arm: sleeve. When you have a shoulder to elbow tattoo its called obviously half-sleeve.IT IS NOT a tattoo style.Its a name you give to a whole piece.Just like you call a heavily tattooed back a Back-piece.

About washing  it everyday(your stretched lobes)  the more you wash it,the more humid they get and the more stink they produce.
The bacteria grows inside naturaly; perfect cosy warm,humid envyronment.(So the more u wash it it,the more humid i'll get,the more you produce bacteria...therefore the more you'll have to wash it...its a never ending cycle)

I personally,along with most of the piercers here,like the technique of taking our jewelry out, clean it good with proper piercing wipes and apply the cream(the one i mention on my previous post),or just any vaseline based cream.
No humidity,no bacteria,and the cream has something permeability that keeps you from stink longer.

With acrylic and silicone jewelry the stink is not so strong tho.Sometimes theres no stink at all...
Why?
Because its not metal(titanium or steal),these have nickel.
Nickel is one of the reasons our lobes stink.
Every human is allergic to Nickel.Every metal has it,but titanium and steal have it much less,so you can have a perfect stretch without problems.(but you'll always have the stink to get rid of)
Thats why sometimes even "normal" piercings can stink! No matter if in your lobes,nose or lip; steal = some Nickel on it. 

Thats why its so important to know exactly what kinda jewelry you're buying.The better steal or titanium,the less nickel,the less infection possibilities and the less stink.

I hope i answered some questions,and happy to hear some tricks that you ppl use for stretching and taking care of the "cheese"

I always stretch mine miself(being a bodypierecer i have everything i need)

That would be 7/16" only one size below 1/2.

my 00 closed up to about an 8g. im sure they would close up a little more if i took the time. im actually planning on just staying at 1/2"
