For future reference dude, cooking stuff kills bacteria.  Thats why you can get salmonella from RAW chicken or RAW eggs.  Rinse the eggs off a little, and cook them- either boil them or crack them open and scramble, or look up a turtle egg recipe online or something.

anyways, some reptiles have been known to , in some way make themselves double-gender after long periods of solitude, so its no joke to say the eggs could have been fertile. But sadly, turtle eggs die off in the water, they need to be put in soil from the start. maybe she will lay some more!

I'd pan fry em like you would a chicken egg.  That's what I did and it was tasty.  I ate one raw, too, which wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for saying that.  That makes me not feel so bad about taking those ones out.  Maybe I should look into incubation.

You should pickle them in a can and sell them on e-bay.

i feel like such a geek for saying this but i have read two of them. i really like em but ive heard they get a lot worse as the series goes on. plus theyre kind of predictable. actually nvm completley predictable. but i like Rand. hes a good main character.

If by "they get worse as the series goes on" you mean that the girls cause endless drama, fight with Rand, and everyone keeps secrets unecessarily, while almost nothing happens in 800 pages except for a few awesome scenes of magic, then yeah, they get a little worse as the series goes on.

I ate them.  They were pretty good actually.  A little oily with almost a slight cheese like taste.  I figured I'd err on the side of overcooking them.  There was almost no white to them at all, they were just about all yolk.  I don't know if that means anything as far as fertilization goes but it made the consistency a little weird when they were cooking.  After a while though they cooked up into little chunks.  I ate them on crackers like my dad jokingly suggested.

Maybe you guys should start a new thread to talk about your books lol.

Why dont you wait and see if the eggs hatch? Are they causing that much of a stink?

God sent his one and only pet in order to save us from sins. You were suppose to nail the turtle to a cross. Now we all get to burn in hell.
