I caught a painted turtle many years ago in Lake Fenwick in Federal Way, Wa.
(the Fenwick fishing pole was first made there...before they moved back East.)

I was using live goldfish to catch Bass...and got something real heavy on the line.

I was shocked when I pulled out the turtle...I had no idea the Lake had turtles in it.

We kept the turtle for a few days at home...then returned it back to the lake.

are you going to kill it? have you seen the movie Cannibal Holocaust? That turtle looks just like the one they butcher in the movie and it was fucking disgusting.

I caught a bigger one than that, but I wasn't crazy enough to use my bare hands. He broke 2 umbrella handles, but I finally got him inside of an apple box. I released him into a pond within a cemetary. I really do think he's responsible for those ducks with missing feet.
