Yeah im actually not sure about that either. Woops, well honestly if you dig it deff buy the albums. Im going to buy all 3 once I get the money. And yes, its similar to shpongle but alittle more mellow in a way. Very nice. Each trip I listened to the cosmosophy album itd be like you were listening to it and realized you were listening to it for only about the first 15-20 mins. Both times after that I was completely transported into higher states of consciousness and very tapped in. And mods if im not allowed to post links to torrents, sorry ill delete my post

Thanks weshroom, this music is something I am definitely interested in. From what I heard so far, it seems like its exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait until I have time for another trip, it looks like I have A LOT of music to experience in that state.

Hi there, interesting trip report. This part especially I identified with as I've had a somewhat similar mindfuck moment. It was a choice to me to answer the ultimate question that has somehow manifested itself in my mind and I couldn't look at the answer, it was TOO MUCH to know and my mind/body couldn't take such a responsibility. I still wonder what would have happened if I decided to get the answer lol as weird as that sounds.

Anyways Shpongle is one of my favorites I have listened to Tales of the Inexpressible tripping a few times and remember a few weird moments. There are a few Simon Posford sets floating out on the internet too if you search a bit if you want something a little different.

thanks everybody there are a lot of great suggestions in this thread

my recommendation for an album that you absolutely need to get and listen to all the way through is jonsi and alex "riceboy sleeps".  i have had some incredible breakthroughs listening to this and would be very surprised if it doesn't do the same for you

The intensity of my CEV seems to vary in line with dosage most of the time (higher dose=more CEV). Also, in my experience, CEV can be affected by light that reaches my retina when my eyes are shut (you can still see a glow coming through your eyelids if you are close to a light source). If I'm tripping indoors, usually I have some lamps on, and if I move my head relative to the light in the room, it will often alter my CEV, or at least make it brighter. Total darkness is not necessarily the best environment for good CEV.

I'm surprised that more people on here aren't turned on to Bluetech.  His albums have been some of my favorite for tripping since I discovered them.

1) "Nothing Lasts, Nothing is Lost" is a fucking excellent album! Possibly my favorite shpongle album. I don't really know much about it or how it was made, but the music was made for tripping, so your suspicions are probably right. I saw shpongle live once while on LSD, MDMA, and DMT... all at the same time. Let me just say that those people know how to twist minds and are VERY VERY good at it!

2) LOL! Never listened to any album backwards, let alone while tripping. I bet it would be weird. Let us know how it goes :smile:

3) if you want to break through into a more visual trip, I recommend taking at least 5g and doing the same thing, silent darkness. But honestly, visuals are kind of weird. Sometimes they're there and sometimes they aren't. Upping your dose should help, but nothing can really guarantee it.

4) My musical recommendation is this:

GEOGADDI by Boards of Canada!

IMO definitely one of the greatest albums of all time. It's kind of dark and beautiful at the same time. And if your headphones really are studio quality then you should be able to enjoy all of the subtle nuances that they put into the music.
