First trip questions, please help

im 17 years old, going into my freshmen year of college and i wanna try shrooms before college so i can experience it wit people i trust (b.c i know im gonna end up doing them there) ok so my friend got his hands on a lot of shrooms for tonite, but im in a really bad mood lately so i dont think its the best idea to try it tonite, but i wanna buy from him and take it later this week, if i was too buy a 4th to split up later in the week between me and 2 or 3 other friends, how long do u think the mushrooms would stay good for, would they eventually become less powerful or poisonous, i really have no clue, please help
