Natural Household Cleaners?

Im getting sick of using harsh/expensive chemicals/products round the house, what's some good alternatives?
The 'eco' cleaners from the supermarket are almost twice as expensive as the non-eco ones, so imo not economical :rolleyes:

The main cleaning is the usual kitchen worktops & bathroom tiles/limescale

Appreciate any advice

White vinegar cleans about near everything. That and baking soda.

Yeah i got some spray bottles, gonna make some vinegar sprays, gotta get white wine vinegar as the vinegar i have right now is white, but stinks strong

I figure vinegar spray with a microfibre cloth would be good, maybe add a few drops of tea tree

If you need a stronger substance than vinegar, try D-limonene.  It is the oil from orange peels, smells nice and works great for everything.

This is what originally inspired me to chuck all the crap away, i thought i could maybe use limonene for everything, do you know how much you mix limonene & water for a good spray cleaner?

I think 1:4 for most cleaning.  It depends on what you're doing.  Caked on oven grease could go strait, very basic cleaning maybe 1:10.

Just google It.  When I bought some the instructions were on the package for use (I used to to extract Mescaline tho, and it made a damn "clean" extract, hehe).

With Limonene and Vinegar you should be good for cleaning.

True dat, i did google it but didnt come up with much straight away, it seems a combo of limonene & vinegar would be good i think, vinegar for its 'anti' properties & limonene for strength & of course a lovely scent
