im starting to believe you about that but idk. i know what i inoculated, so im confused. i look at pics of PE and this doesnt look like it, I agree...so idk. i took about 2g the other night and was just buzzin pretty good but no visuals. thought i was supposed to be "knocked on my a$$"...not the case. next ill dose it up to a full eigth i presume. Any idea what they might be...pretty screwed up if its not PE...id be dissappointed.

spores will create mushrooms of differing potency

multispore means your substrate is from multiple spore pairings.
as opposed to an isolate which is just one.


commercial spores are very "domesticated" to produce similar looks and potency.

but spores dude. spores.

crumbling cakes for spawn is somewhat common.

but crumbling spent cakes for spawn is just not going to work.

your fruiting chamber getting plenty of fresh air exposes your cakes to lots of contaminants, spores and otherwise.

the reason they dont contam is because it is a single healthy mycelium structure with no weak points.

after a few flushes it becomes weak enough to contam.


but if you crumble a spent cake into a substrate it will most likely contam.

It's not recommended to crumble and spawn a cake that's already produced fruits.

As far as your bulk substrate prep/ingredients question goes, Damion5050's Elementary Coir Tek would be a good place to start.

Never tried Damion5050's tek..., but I can personally recommend LargeDose's tek if your going to spawn to coir. I have had great success with it!
