almost in opinion....my friend thinks that mycobags look like a waste. that looks truly less efficient than a simple pf cake. correct my friend if they are wrong... is it really worth it?

First grow ever. I decided to start simple, then move to PF Tek. I wanted to get a feel for the life cycle of a mushroom. And plus, as you said, it's a guaranteed harvest. I didn't want to go 2 months and then fuck it all up trying to do tricks to make them grow faster, or expose them to contams.

also i commend you on your endeavor towards first understanding the mushrooms life cycle, before getting balls deep into something you might or might not understand as time progresses.

most wont do that, they'll seem to start the pf tek without first fully reading it, then and only when it goes awry, do they come to the message boards to ask for help. reading and then comprehension of what you read is a form of learning, but just reading isnt. =)

must add that the above isnt true for everybody, probably not even for most...as ive seen some of the most intellectual minds in my life on these very forums.

anyway, good job, good luck, and i hope you like your new hobby =)
