im in school currently. (community college, sophmore year)
maybe i should stick to becoming a botanist/mycologist, but i recently dropped my chem class cause my teacher was just utterly bad. she had a terrible speech cause she was arabic, gave me a 62 on my first test cause i didnt show work on some problems (even though they were right), and didnt tell us what to study so we'd be dumbfounded on each quiz.

i also dropped Anatomy and physiology cause of all the bullshit work she gave and it was a 4 hour class on friday morning.

next semester im thinking of taking a variety of classes, botany, a good humanities class, music theory, and psychology.

im really interested in becoming a humanities/history teacher, but i heard they get shit pay and have lots of competition.

i just dont want to be one of those jackasses who shows up in a community college class at the age of 33 and has much slower learning capacity.

jump through the hoops you need to jump through to do what you want, fuck some dumbass teacher, drop it, wait till next semester.

I won't be finishing college on time neither, I fucked up and have to do at least one extra semester but fuck it, I'll be working till I'm dead anyway what's one or 2 more semesters at the greatest place on earth? no biggy, When I walk my ass down that isle I'm probably going to tear up big time, so far academically college has been the hardest thing I've ever done, and lemme tell ya, I suck at school.  I break my ass and still do bad but it doesn't really even get me down because at graduation I know I'll have tried my best because I truly have.

I've been doing alright on the side with the weed growing, but my last few rounds of mushrooms have been tough, and edibles don't give you a huge profit margin to fuck around with.  Getting a consistently functional grow environment and space to do sterile work has been a challenge, and is definitely a work in progress.

I could never join the military...  That's the one thing I pretty much refuse to do.

My fiancee and I still live apart, because members of my extended family are religious zealots, and we'll get substantially more from them as far as cash wedding gifts go if we don't live together until we're married, and this is likely going to be the only way we'll afford a house.  Once I have a basement, I can make plenty of money with ganja, but you gotta have the basement first...

My tiny studio guard tower apartment, as badass as it is, does not have a stove.  What this means is that I have to sterilize and prepare all my shit at her place (her stove is actually capable of running a PC), then transport it back to my place to grow it out.  I don't have a tub either, so the majority of my cleaning has to get done at her place as well.

It's hard to keep shit clean moving back and forth all the damn time.

Whenever I feel bad, I just look over at the giant monolith that takes up the majority of my living room...  the 4x4 grow tent that's going to make Christmas not blow this year.

Its not something that is found.  It is something you nurture and grow.  You have to pick something that seems kinda cool and foster an interest in it and an interest in doing it.

Best advice anybody could give basically. There are lots of career and infinite options (assuming you have the intelligence required).  You'll probably never be happy though unless you find an occupation that you enjoy.
If you're into taking MDMA, I'd suggest you take some one night and think about what you really want to do.  That is how I figured out what I wanted to pursue, which ultimately may not happen but it certainly has given me a direction.
