Photo of outdoor bondage festival: what do you make of this?

This Sunday there is going to be an outdoor festival at Folsom Street in California. Most of it is oriented towards the gay bdsm people however there is heterosexual bdsm stuff there too.

Any opinoins on this festival or the picture I posted?

Eh, I'm not into pain or subjugation, especially in bed, but hey, if that's what floats their boat, I'm happy they live in a time when they can more or less express it. Good for them. :thumbup:

I'm just wondering why one of the guys is dressed in some sort of military uniform. I'm not gay myself but I like the fact people are allowed to do sexual stuff on the street. I don't care if kids see it. Children shouldnt be used to restrict my freedom... and they often are used as an excuse to do just that. And I really don't think if a small child sees a naked woman that thats going to hurt them.

But I'm just wondring whats up with the military uniform? I wonder if a lot of the police and military guys are gay? Am I misinterpreting the significance of this uniform or am I mispercieving homosexuality?

I'm just wondring whats up with the military uniform?

I think it has to do with the domination thing. Some like to give orders and others take them.

I used to have a neighbor who was into the S&M thing. I was fascinated by him because he was weirder than me and that takes some doing. He was a minority (gay) within a minority (weird sex). I questioned him about how it all works.

Basically, everyone agrees ahead of time what all the rules will be, what the fantasy to be played out is, what drugs if any will be available, and exactly how far each participant is willing to go, like how much pain, physical injury or no, blood or no, all of that. Then they go to it.

Some have domination fantasies and get off on uniforms and billy clubs, rope, whatever. Others get off on being used and humiliated.

As a completely open minded person I've tried to fantasize about it but it just does nothing at all for me. Too bad. Guess I'm repressed. :whoa:

crime and punishment, I dont think its meant to signify that lots of cops/millitarys are gay its just meant to show you that he's some kind of occifer. or somesing

I was looking for a video I saw a while back of a cop freaking out on a guy he made a traffic stop on and was yelling at the top of his lungs shit like "did you hear me BOY... listen to me BOY... get out of the car LITTLE BOY". I'll post it if I can find it but check this one out, it's close. Makes me wonder what kinda shit he's into in bed:

UGGGHHH that shit infuriates me, cops do that shit all the time, esp those stupid biker cops that aren't even cops, and they do that shit all the time esp to lil kkids that don't know anything about their rights. If a cop(biker) touched me physically like that, when I as 14 I would flip, probably get the backside of my board upside his head or a call from my lawyer.

I hate the fact that people in society just let cops get away with this. Parents care about their kids and so shouldn't they be concerned if their kids are being bullied like this by the police...? Maybe they just don't know that this is going on because they have never skateboarded and maybe they are persuaded by TV to think cops aren't weird people. I just get really mad when I see cops abusing people. It's a major problem. Kids parents need to be more proactive about this stuff and help society out by forming groups.. not only parents but concerned citizens of all ages and all types.

Ya this is why I hate the news. I'm supposed to be worried about Habib playing in the sand in the middle east instead of being worried about stupid cops on power trips.

Aha! Found it. Check this guy out and ask yourself how well he'd fit in at that S&M festival. Notice how his attitude and threats of making up charges suddenly changes when he finds out the kid has video going in his car.

What does it imply to ask that what we think about this?

Does it hurt society? i think it does, it creates an even bigger understanding gap between the liberals and conservatives and pulls the people in between. Lets face it, we live in a conservative society and this stuff makes people EVEN more afraid of sexuality than they already are. How? Well everyone has a diverse sexuality and these people can spark desires that were once repressed to heavily to notice, maybe no nessecarily to the extent of BDSM but most definitely to the extent of homo erotica. in my opinion, this realease of desire that is seated deep withing all of us, lies reason for hatred and bigotry, resentment and a higher sense of insecuirty AND MORE iMPORTANTLY, sensitivity to ANY actions that CORRELATE with this in the public.

To me what would be better for them is to help people understand them, instead of a parade, possibly some form of information day where ALL types of gay people give their opinions of not ONLY sexuality, but child rearing, politics, to things like entertainment. People like this, offer more reason for the generally ignorant conservatives to hate them and themselves, creating a greater social fragmentation and less comfortable social interaction.

Sadly, the liberals are themselves to ignorant to see this and they do things like these.....

I am not trying to lead people anywhere with my question of what their opinion on it is... if people have an ethical opinion on it, a political opinion, a psychological opinion, a spiritual opinion, a sociological opinion... whatever sort of opinion they have is what they have, I am not looking for one particular sort of opinioin. Any opinion.

To respond to your opinion... should people be compelled by the squeamishnes of others to not have a right to enjoy themselves? I am not gay but at the same time if gay people want to have sex in the street together than thats their right.

So if people are uncomfortable with something we should go along with them. Thats based on the idea that people have a right to not be offended. PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO NOT BE OFFENDED. If a woman and man want to have sex with the woman on top they should do that and they shouldn't avoid doing it just because others might be against it and throughout some periods in history such behavior was illegal. We should not let peoples insecurities restrict us from having a normal society.

firstly, i didnt see any sex occuring in your photo. It looked like a show more than sex. If they were flingin their dicks around then it would be illegal, most likely.

I think BDSM stuff is pretty cool, i mean, they can look pretty hot.

But im not into pain... or embarrassment or any of that sort of thing. I don't see it as pleasure.

as for the military uniform, it makes perfect sense if you understand what BDSM is. A person in military uniform represents orders, control, power. BDSM is all about submitting to the powers of others, or having power over others. Usually people with a lot of power get the sexual hit from submitting, and the people who do teh whipping are either doing it for fun for the sake of their 'victim' or else get a real kick from dominating due to their forced submission earlier in life or during their day job

and some people just like the dress up
