This guy really scares me... but I like how he thinks.
So. Suppose you could securely and anonymously click a button and 'bet' five bucks we see John Ashcroft sleep with the fishes... would you do it?

For every lib willing to push a button of a conservative, there would be at least one conservative to push a lib button. Soon there would be few left of either. Either way, a pretty stupid idea.

Did you read the whole thing? That was his point. Eventually all high level politicians would be picked off. He's an extreme libertarian anarchist.
I don't believe anarchy is a feasible society but I do think this sort of plan would 'work' in the sense that it would kill off the goverment- if that's what your goal was.

Fascinating and ingenious. This guy has obviously put a LOT of thought into this. It took a while to read through it all, and I certainly need to re-read parts of it and think about it in greater depth, but after a first reading I see no flaws in the mechanism he proposes.
Thanks a bunch for providing this link. That is the most startlingly original piece of thinking I have come across in many a year, perhaps ever!

Took me a while to read it and fully grasp what he is saying...but I would have to agree with Pinky that it is a truly revolutionary idea, and in my opinion..bloody brilliant!

Hmmm, you mean there would be very few people from either the left or the right left to take our freedoms away? Why is that a bad thing? Too bad the founding fathers didn't think of this as one of the 'checks and balances,' we would be in much better shape than we are in today.
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

No, sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant there would be few people left.
