isnt there medical bankruptcy? Its crazy real stress can hinder your bodies ability to recover, you need to relax in such times but it isnt easy when you have to deal with that shit. Try getting a cell phone in someone elses name, and use that, and forget about the normal contact methods. The shitty thing is once you get a job they will attempt to garnish the shit out of it. The sad thing is, if you make or have made any kind of money at all, getting some kind of assistance is nearly impossible. Thanks to some incompetent dr's you end up doing and taking all kinds of unnecessary medications and treatments that cost a shit ton of money. Thank the lord. Medical care has turned into a hardcore business, and the way that Rx companies provide massive incentives for dr's, the dr's themselves no longer have the care of the individual to think about. Money corrupts all of us, which today is putting lots of peoples lives and well being at steak.

Fo reals! I almost got dependent on opiates from the extra surgery and the doctors willingness to just throw pills at my problem.

Thank god I told them I didn't want the 3rd surgery they suggested. They wanted to remove the bottom portion of mah right lung.

When I refused they hooked me up with an infectious disease specialist who finally found the bacteria and gave me some strong ass antibiotics to kill it.

Thank God for a doctor who paid attention in class...

I would rather have them give you extra pills then no pills at all. which is whats happening around here, thanks to a few fuck heads who robbed a couple pharmacies, dr's are so reluctant to perscribe anything at all, I have a few friends who had some intense accidents, including one with a bone sticking out his ankle, and they only gave him ibuprofen. Bastids

IDK, from what I've read, I have really non-sensitive pain receptors. Mah surgeon told me I healed faster than anyone he's ever seen. I guess he was only trying to help by giving me all the pain killers I asked for.

From what they told me, the surgery I had was the most painful next to having a kidney removed.

What the fuck? I'd flip my fucking lid if they tried to give me ibuprofen for a compound fracture.

I broke my hand last weekend and I made sure they pilled me up. Percocet and Lortab. Mmm Mmm. I also have a standing order at the local Patient first office so that whenever I throw my back out they give me what's written in my medical file, 7.5/325 Percocet and 10mg Flexeril. I don't even have to ask them for it, they just write me the scripts.

So what the hell does robbed pharmacies have to do with adequate pain relief? Pill diversion maybe, but there have been a lot of pharmacies robbed around here for Oxycontin, but it's still very easy to get adequate pain relief for legitimate pain.

Probably worry about you getting all hooked on pain killers, then robbing the pharmacies.

Some doctors actually worry about their patients well being. A few of them.
