as cheesy and childish as they are, the Star Wars movies (original ones) are still good.

I haven't watched any of them in years though.

the old copies are the ones to watch.

i wish they would release a theatrical version of the original trilogy. this new "extended" version sucks.

the new version with that Jabba scene posted above and adding Hayden Christensen at the end of ROTJ is horrible compared to the theatrical cut.

i think either Lucas doesnt know what the fans want or just doesnt give a shit. :shrug:

Yeah, once an artist of any kind releases his work to the public, he shouldn't be able to go back and change it when he is old and no longer capable of doing it with taste.  It's not like Picasso came in at the end of his life and painted over Guernica to make it look more realistic and 'modern' or something, and they don't come in and update the Colosseum every 20 years to make it look like the Meadowlands.

Sooo... they find a chunk of DNA that is not human... and rather than assume the DNA may have come from bacteria or a virus or some other natural (i.e. terrestrial) source, they instead decide that the non-human DNA absolutely must have come from an alien.  Then, stretching even more, they find a chunk of DNA that is absolutely human, thus it must have been an alien genetic experiment, implanting an alien zygote into a human host, that picked up a bit of human DNA.  And he wonders why science doesn't take him seriously.  :rolleyes:

That's quite the convention for what would seem to be the discovery of the century. Seemed more like an AA meeting judging by the looks of the clientele. Then the dude starts talking about money at the end. Total Nobel Prize shit here. Where can I donate?

I was reading this thread, and I tend to agree. It could be just a one of kind mutation that eventually killed the child early on in life. To think otherwise is merely fanciful thinking.

When the "Starchild" skull was discovered it had an entire skeleton. The funny thing is, the skeleton supposedly got washed away by a torrential flood and the skull was the only part left. In reality, the skull would have been the only part washed away by the flood. That means someone is hiding the rest of the skeleton. Why? It's probably a completely normal-looking human skeleton because the "Starchild" is 100% human.
