confused about meditation

close eyes, focus on breathing, clear mind and dont think about anything

or close eyes and let thoughts rn through head..

hey go to erwid.org except click on spirituality and such
and there are like 10 meditation guides. i use the tbetan one.

Clear your mind of all thoughts. When you catch yourself thinking, note "I am thinking" and then return to your point of concentration. I recommend reading yoga for yellowbellies from www.deoxy.org.

a guide to meditation is an oxymoron. To try and not to think is an oxymoron. Do you see where this is going?

the point is to focus your thoughts and quiet down the internal dialogue, and feel things rather than telling yourself how they feel.

I like to think while meditating, but only after i'm in a state where I can handle it.

I just lay there and kinda let my thoughts kinda slow down and stop flowing so fast, and kinda come to a hault...Then sleep.

I meditated and slept two times today. :smile:
