multi spore straw inoc

how do you multi spore inoc pasteurized straw by itslef without getting contams, or do you have to grain mycel incoc?

You need a grain substrate before you can transfer the mycelium to the straw. A multi-spore innoculation will not work.

one more thing, why the heck wouldnt someone want to spawn straw with the colonised rye/popcorn/birdseed, and increase yeilds and substrate ten fold, it seems so simple to do.
