I can has a vote on Prop 19 in November?
    #12930313 -

I live in Virginia, but I know a girl who just moved to California about a month ago.  She's not the voting kind, but I'm trying to convince her to get registered and then vote YES on prop 19 on November 2nd.  If I can do this, I will have, in effect voted in this historic ballot initiative.  Does anyone know when the cut off date for her getting registered is?  Or has she not been in the state long enough?

I believe it takes one month of living there to register a car / get a license which would make you able to vote?

Great.  I found that OCTOBER 18th is the last day to register to vote in the general election on November 2nd.  Everybody in California get registered!
