They've got something very similar going on in Colorado this year.... Only real difference seems to be that they aren't trying to setup places to sell http://saferchoice.org/

Bro, you trippin'. First of all, Nevada: Gambling on Marijuana Legalization Marijuana legalization effort wins endorsement
And secondly, I'm registered to vote. This might be the only thing I vote on in the upcoming election but I don't think this will happen anyway. It's just my luck and the nature of our ignorant, intolerant, and self-righteous society. That, and I remember voting to legalize medical marijuana in California, which passed but was promptly ignored and made illegitimate by our federal government's "Schedule I" stance... farging bastages.
Oh, and from what I understand, weed possession has already been decriminalized here. Which means less than an ozer is only a misdemeanor. Anyway, peace, and keep shmokin' shroomers!
I think we should be positive here:
Half of this board thinks it is God..... that we are creating our own reality.... so I only see it fit to change that tune.
It will legalize.
Pray night and day, evangelize at the churches saying "do you want your kids going to jail for smoking pot?" find Christians that smoke pot and get them to spread the word to their right winged brothers.
Trends are this: Alaska legalized. Denver legalized. Nevada is more than likely going to.
The only thing that will stop it I think is fraudlent voting results, ala the diebold conspiracies and the non-paper trail kind of thing.
But you know what..... you gotta think positive man!!! Pessimistic hippies that are like "man Bush is so evil and the cops are out to get you" aren't doing a good job at legalizing, it's normal people that are like "well I think marijuana should be legalized... and I don't hate America" that get it legalized.
Now..... if weed is truely decriminalized than you won't get a misdemeanor for poession. Weed is so totally NOT decriminalized here, and any amount first time is misdeamenor + 1 day in jail.

this will make their job legit and stop them from being sent to jail.

i've always wondered whether pot dealers would want legalization or not.
not the big time smugglers, they would fight to keep prohibition in place.
but....
I would rather buy homegrown than something from a store. Unless the store had real high quality. And I'd rather grow my own.

Not that I'm a small grower or anything but I think prices would fall. Maybe sellers would have to get a permit.
Still it would be cool if each of us could grow a plant or two.

Yea, I think overall small time dealers would feel better not having to look over their backs constantly for selling something so harmless. But the big time dudes would probably lose their profits.

Either way Im for legalization. Keep innocent people out of jail!
