    #12924862 -

How can you tell if a craigslist job posting is a scam? heres what one im looking at says:

"Earn realistic $100 to $300 per day. Ride with me one day, I'll prove it !!! Cash paid daily. Company vehicle provided. Full time only. Must be able to lift a 25lb. box"

supposedly its some steak/seafood service. what do you all think? should i call?

They tried scamming me once.  They were like "be a bartender here!" so I applied. I get a call from someone wanting me to get training and to send them 45 dollars.  Only idiots fall for that shit.  Follow it up and talk to the dude.  If they want to take your money then tell them to fuck off.  If not what is the worst that can happen he rapes you and dumps your body in a ditch and throws you a 100 bill.

Company car for a steak/seafood service doesn't add up. I've never heard of that before.

it's probably legit in some regard, one company, Country Fed Meats does
it, they send you out to sell boxes of meat in a truck with a freezer,
the problem is there's all kinds of little crap that limits what you can
make but the potential is there if you learn to market it

one good method, instead of the door to door crap is to find a busy area
and set up, people come to you and it's not hard to make a few hundred,
I know a few people that have pulled a decent living this way

here's a little info on country fed

There are a lot of scams on craigslist, but plenty of real ones too.
Give the guy a call and see where it leads.

craigslist gets paid only for job postings, so the person had to pay for the ad.

as for that bartending scam, in washington state you are required to get your server permit which cost about that, they are probably a company that trains people on the side, with little to no guarantee of a job.

that ad sounds legit, but you need the details. A small delivery company might be able to pay you on a per job basis. However if they want any money I would be skeptical.

call them and report back.

they dont seem to have a website. the only thing that comes up is a google maps page with 2 reviews on it, one calling it a "very shady business."

yeah, you'll be selling frozen meat and seafood door to door.

in college I tried this for one day. they had me go out w/ this guy who couldnt drive b/c his license was suspended for possession of a meth or crack pipe in his car.

he was a complete POS and we didnt sell a thing.

I did not show up the next day. you'll have better luck selling vacuums door to door.

has anyone ever had a person come to their work, or hit you up in public, to buy a pizza out of his trunk for $5? They driver buys like 20 pizza's and makes a dollar or so when he sells it.

PM me the company, they may be legit, maybe not

I mentioned Country Fed, it's one you should check into because they are
legit, my brother and step father both worked for them a little while, they
pulled about $800/week
