From what I know about circumcision its done before you are one year old.  Do any of you really remember being circumcised? Are you scared for life?

These girls in Africa are having this done around the ages of 4-8...

Cutting off the clit is not the same as circumcision, id agree it is more like cutting off the head of a penis. I am going to have my boy circumsized for non religous purposes. He will thank me when girls are happy to go down on him

Yes I am scarred for life. The scar goes around the circumference of my penis, and is clearly visible with my foreskin pulled back.

the prepuce is most definately NOT a "vestigial flap of skin" this is what you have been taught. i am in no way trying to say that mutilating the genitals of males is worse than females, just merely bringing up the point that both are horrible practices that should be against the law. since it seeems a lot of you are completely un-aware of the function of the foreskin, here's a link.
