im going to have to decide on a cheap laptop under for £350. every last penny i currently have:thumbdown: looking at some now.

A Lenovo is cheap and efficient.

Asus are good too.

Every single full size laptop you can buy nowadays has HDMI out.

Look on newegg (I'm not sure if they ship to the UK though).

i havent seen many laptops under £400 with HDMI out. :confused:

I have a dell Inspiron 1720



I got it like 3 years ago, and It's my first laptop so I can't really compare it to anything. :shrug:

The original hard drive already crashed last year. It completely fucked up, but Dell replaced it for free, and it got here literally the next day. I put the call in one morning, and the next afternoon my new hard drive came to my door, so I'll give them a :thumbup: for service. About 5 months ago I spilled a cup of tea on the keyboard so I have another one plugged into the usb and sitting on top of the laptop keyboard to type :lol:

Other than that, It works fine. The little fucker weighs about 10 pounds, but other than that it's decent.

yeah i have the model down from that, mine is the the 1520. and i woke up today signed on here and just relised that its made a random miraculous recovery. working perfectly, well as perfect as an out of date laptop can work. i dont get it:shrug: also just got a letter saying ive been accepted for the plumbing course i applied for, so i dont think ill have the money to buy a new laptop for a while yet. and im going to need to make the eigth of bud i got left last a long time.
