I've been considering getting another bike for a few months now, and since summer has finally come (why are you indoors anyway koppie, the weather's gorgeous!!!), I perhaps might. I'd definitely go for second hand (marktplaats :wink:)

Just came back from a bike ride of course!

Mine's second hand too. A rusty old city bike for going places and doing thangs.

Sounds good. I got one of those, and I've had it since I was 13, I think. Problem is that it keeps making left turns after I collided with a classmate once, about 15 years ago. And the chain cover has been gone for a few years now. But the gears are still working, which isn't too bad on a bike that has seen this sort of abuse.

I'm actually looking for something as boring and solid as my current bike, but slightly newer, less rusted and perhaps with those handlebar gear changers they have these days.

Don't forget to get a crate in front. All the cool kids have a crate on their bike.



(Well I don't but that's just because I'm not cool. and I don't have a rack to hold the crate.)

If I had a crate in the front, all the other kids wouldn't be cool anymore. That's about how uncool I am. Nah, such a crate wouldn't really work for me in any case. I'm bound to go off road with my bike once in a while, as I live in the rural south and just riding off into a field every now and then is just too tempting. A crate would come in handy in mushroom forays though :thumbup:
