get rid of the perlite... That you do not need for a casing.. It should level off your humidity and if it gets a little low mist the sides of your terrarium... Your temp is good, fanning is good.. Light is a little much....

get rid of the perlite??? how is that a resonable suggestion? During fruiting, you want the Rh to be from 85-95% which is exactly what the perlite helps to achieve. As for the light, try and keep them on a 22/2 hour schedule where the 2 hours is the light per day. You might want to lower the temp just a little bit to the mid 70's since 80 and up is mainly for incubation. Good luck.

My guess would be that your casing layer is dry. They tend to dry at the middle first and retain moisture longest along the edges.

Yeah... I only use perlite during pinning because you want it up around 95%, but then after it's started pinning I bring RH down to around 80-85% and to do that I transfer my casings to my fruiting chamber where there is no perlite only a jar filled with water with a submersible fish tank heater in it.  I make sure my casing layer is always moist enough!

Are you 100% that is a pure verm casing? In the picture it looks darker.... but that could be shadows. Anyways, verm is ph neutral, but if there is peat moss in that casing, say a 50/50 mix, the ph might be off a bit. Casings that are a touch too acidic sometimes pin on the sides only... but that is just what i heard  . Other than that I agree, the casing might not be moist enough in the middle. Either way looks like you got a few shrooms going there, good luck on gettin more !
