So, while I?m waiting for my syringes to arrive, I?ve started to get my supplies ready.
My question to those who might read this is about vermiculite and perlite. I?m currently living in Taiwan, but I?m not Chinese. Before I got interested in shrooms I had never even heard of them and I had no idea what they looked like. So buying the vermiculite and perlite has proven to be a mission. I don?t know the Chinese for them and no one understands the English.
I finally got what I think is the right stuff. I did a Google picture search and the stuff I bought looks exactly like this.
Vermiculite
Perlite
Is this what they are supposed to look like? It seems to me that the vermiculite might not be fine enough. If it isn?t, is there a way I can make it finer (grind it perhaps)?

As for the Verm. you can put that in a coffee grinder to make if finer... as for the Perlite... It likes like you ended up with a bunch of cocaine...

and i wouldn't grind up the perlite if i were you...
