I reg'd in the beginning of 2008 and have been a member here for 2 and a half years, and the forum has raised $1500 for me, I've been a supporter multiple times, and I've been an extremely active poster... Yet I am incapable of making judgment on trolling behavior and the quality of the pub, because everything today is exactly as it was 2 and a half years ago.

Quit being an asshat 1d10t3k. You know as well as I do that there was a major rush to this forum in the last year, where new user registration practically doubled, and yes, in the past year, the quality of posts in the pub has gone down, and I agreed with Nightowl that there is lots of trollish behavior there, more than I remember when I joined this community.

I still absolutely love this community, and will never leave it, but god damn dude, crucify me for having an opinion.

Everyone should use the notify mod button more frequently, It helps curb alot of the trolling.

There was a major rush to join the Shroomery in 08 too.  The influx of newbs in the Pub what was caused the Vet forum to be created.  A lot of people who used to be Pub regulars don't bother anymore because of the overflow of newb threads.

I can recall a time when half the behavior that has been displayed in this thread alone would have gotten you banned in the Pub.  I agree that a lot of the Pub mods don't care for the most part anymore because they have lives off here and prioritize a lot of other things over the Shroomery. 

Really, it has gotten better in the big picture, but the hypersensitive people will always be here to cry about Pub quality going downhill and the slipping of a few sarcastic or brutally honest remarks past the attention of the mods as being a trolling problem.  If someone is really trolling, it will be dealt with.

Plus I'm not convinced that a forum with half of the threads consisting of Dead lyrics is better than what we have now. I'm not sure I'd like to go back to what the Pub used to be.
