The Other Drugs Discussion problem

In the ODD, a mod has to look over the post to ok it.(correct?) Man its taking half a day, to a day for some posts to even be put up, and several people reply and you cannot see their posts, because a mod hasent looked at them. I think it needs a extra moderator who can ok posts, as somehow its not happening. I can mod if youd like, or you could find somebody else, But the problem needs fixing. Please look into a extra mod, and Like I said I would be happy to do it

How is there 7 mods, and the posts take a day to get approved? Is it the mods not approving or a problem with the website? You can see where somebody has replyed to my thread in odd, but when you click on my thread, their post is not there. This happens constantly. Forreal, just make my name green, and Ill do a good job!

I couldn't agree more. There is 40 Unapproved posts there today, I've been watching this since I became an admin again.

Obviously something has to be done here, and right now.

Man I be here everyday, I could read all 40 of those posts im so goddamn bored. So, can I be a mod? so we can actually read the posts, instead of wondering when its gonna mysteriously pop up?

word, i definetly agree, resin should be made a mod and/or other mods should be able to look over the posts.....i like posting there but its a pain in the ass waiting for replys.
OR maybe the moderation should be scaled back to main posts only, let the replys go up instantly because replys arent usually the problem....

Nah cause then some fuck would tell some other fuck to take like 30 pills, and the fuck would die, There has to be mods to look over posts in Odd. Shit make me a mod so I can see my posts!

It should be pointed out that this really varies from time to time and day to day. I know that there are several times a week, when I literally sit on the forum and approve things as they come along -- after having read them and the thread they are going into for context.

The approval process happens in clumps -- sometimes things flow really smoothly and some times they get backed up. Full-Moderation appears the way that things are going to be done in that forum, so I'm willing to accept it, but it does mean that sometimes things are going to move slow. We do appreciate the feedback though, and we have been discussing this very issue. :smile:

The forum seems to be running very smoothly now!

Its a lot of work approving posts in that forum and I'd like to say how much I appreciate the hard work those mods put into this forum.
