Alllow me to relate a few things here....

I run a very small public wireless network. Using the 802.11b technology, other people are able to log on through my connection and go through to the internet and do whatever. This means that a bunch of people at any given time Have the same IP address, but are NOT using the same computers, or are even within a 1/2 mile of me or each other. Heck, I dont really even know some of the people that log into my network. I provide this service for free as an experiment for free public high speed networking to see how viable a much larger service might be.

A few folks do not have their own computers and use a friends computer, and log on and go from there. Im no tech geek by any means, but at times I get asked how to do things that seem so simple to most of us, but are appearently voodoo witch craft to the non computer and internet litterate folks that want to use the internet...they ask me for things such as helping them sign up on forums such as this one so that theymight share and read up on the knowledge....then they call me every other day wanting to know their passwords and login names....I dnt mind helping them out, but it is a pain in the ass!

So actually a couple of different people have posted here using this username. I do not believe that any of them, or myself are actually involved in growing anything...one of them is genuinely a biology student at the local university and his interest is purely academic.

That same person traded some spores with a well-known and well respected member of this community. These where spores that occure naturally in this area but are currently oout of season.
When those spores arrived, the envelope had been opened and taped back shut and there where odd stampings on the envelope and the numbers on the address had been taped over with white correction tape, with a stamp that said the envelope had been opened by mistake.
We thought that was very very odd.
Of course the person that supplied the spores is totally cool and is beyond any suspicion, and we notified that person and let them know that the envelope had been tampered with.

I myself do not use drugs or even drink. I used to but have not done it for over 14 years. I have found this community entertaining and I find the ideas of such tiny things like spores and mycology and funguses and the tiniest of organisms and how they relate in symbiotic harmony with our entiire ecosystem to be fascinating, and it has given me some good ideas on developing renewable energy sources (ala the potatoe battery) by making batteries that constantly recharges themselves out of growing living fungus and plants.

In fact, should any question about ME ever arise because of some of my users useage of this site....I can and would with full confidence challenge any LEO to a full blood and hair test for drugs and booze. If I pass, I get their badge and paycheck. I THEY are actually cleaner then me, then they can have full access to my opinions about how and where they can focus their police manpower and resources.....Ill even give them a frree tip here: Want to keep the cocain out of the US? Impeach Bush, and disband the CIA.

So haveing offered up that caveat and those words, I'd like to point out that I am not necisaraly the person who makes posts here, but really only the provider of the internet connection and sometimes the computer(s). I wouldnt even knowabout this forum if I hadnt been helping a friend of one of my subscriberws do some internet searches and such for his native field study and regional ecosystems class...or whatever the hell it is he is studying.
