dumb IP address question

I want to ditch my IP address and get another one. Is this even possible without changing my internet service provider?

If so, what would happen to the old IP? Would it still be traceable?

If you are using dial up no you would have to get a new provider if you are using cable or dsl yes you can request a change tell them you feel you were hacked and the shouldn't charge you.

Only if the police or feds come knocking at the ISP's door with a warrant. Some might just give it out on request, with the new laws scaring people..

all information can be obtained from your ip address if you have the correct program. some programs can trace your email address to acct information. if you want protection, get a router. most firwall softwares can be hacked.

i got your ip address. i can tell you it begins with 6x and ends with x1

i omitted the first and last numbers because that would be jacked up. but yeah man get a router, youre wide open!
