I am still waiting for Phred's reply about his opinion about  prices falling throughout the economy....


Phred might know that sound money creates a general trend towards lower prices.  He might logically deduce that fiat creates a general trend towards lower prices.

Phred, do you understand that prices will tend to raise faster over time than wages with inflation of the money supply?

Do you understand that when inflation of the money supply occurs the new money that is created benefits the first recipients of said new money at the cost of those who see said new money last?

Can you see how this is disturbingly similar to counterfeiting in the moral sense of the definition of the word counterfeiting?


Do you think this might have something to do with the increased cost of living in the United States?

Perhaps this might be the reason why a family needs two breadwinners instead of (what used to be) just one to stay afloat?


I am interested in your response(s) to any of my question(s).

PERHAPS you might consider the idea of inflation as being a form of taxation...

I certainly do.

I'm certainly not seeing reduced prices on most goods at retail, in
fact I recall an average 20% increase after the last round of fuel
increases and those prices still havent been reduced by most companies
even though those gas prices have dropped by half, in fact in the last
few weeks fuel prices have risen again and the price of oil has been
dropping, with additional rising fuel costs I have t wonder when the
next price hike will be in the stores and from manufacturers, I also
wonder why no one is blaming Obama for the rising fuel prices
