Where does it come from?

It's not like being gay or lesbian is a new concept... and as far as i know there wasn't government propaganda on that end like with marijuana :stoned:

I was hit on a dozen times by adult men (once by a serious predator) from age 12-17. Didn't take any propaganda to make me wary. Also lived near San Francisco when AIDs was discovered. Got to see many homosexual men protesting for their right to infect others in bath houses. Yay, freedom! Also saw many die. (My gf was a hairdresser and had many gay friends in the business that she lost to AIDs.)

Do I hate gays? No. I once had a best friend who was gay. Why? Because he did not act like a queen, he was fun and because he never hit on me.

While straight men are certainly sex-obsessed, most of the gay men that I knew had taken the obsession to new heights; many bragging about having a hundred or more partners in a year.

I have never witnessed a straight couple having sex on the beach, but have seen gay guys giving BJs and handjobs on public beaches in California. Something other than (or in addition to) gender preference seems amiss to me.

Of course there are monogamous couples who do not flaunt their sexuality for all to see.

Rachel Maddow, a lesbian, is one of my favorite political TV commentators. She is smart, educated, well-spoken and does not bring her sexuality into the discussion.

Live and let live, but don't shove it in my face literally or figuratively.

Many people don't understand that the obnoxious gay scene is a strange way to cope with a strong inner pain from feeling rejected. So both the crazy sex & the annoyance fuel eachother and it gets worse and worse.

I think it's fear of our sexuality and all the vast potential inherent within it. I know I have felt the twinges of fear around sexual issues very often in way too many areas. IMO, many men especially, with their high testosterone levels would fuck a deer if it stood still long enough. So they naturally have sexual feelings that might be expressed with other men given the chance. But of course they need to suppress this for the sake of societies and "gods" rules. Any blatant exposure to open sexuality would be hard to stand so they attack it.

Certainly. There is IMO an appropriate time and place for all activities.

That is a good reason for you to choose heterosexuality, but not a good reason to hate those who do not.  The subject is why people hate homosexuals.  Sexual repression, religion & anger management issues seem more responsive to this topic than your personal distaste for anal intercourse.
