Paypal question about drug related material

I remember reading a while back that sporeworks or some other spore vendor lost their paypal account due to the nature of the products they sell. I think what I read said that paypal was bought by ebay and because of ebays policy on drug related materials that you arent able to use it to order drug related material. Is this true? I have a friend that is going to be opening a marijuana seed company and just wanted to clear up the matter...
I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but because most of the vendors use paypal I though it would be a good place to ask.

personally it makes me not want to use pay-pal, if they are policing there own clients then what is to stop them from looking into the ( vendors ) clientelle - that is definitely not a good thing !

Hey guys, alot of people have been having problems with paypal. I sell on ebay, and many people are switching to other forms of payment. There is a site I found, might want to check it out. www.paypalsucks.com

PayPal shut down our account recently as well and is holding funds for 180 days. I would recommend staying away from them.
