I wish I could buy the original book/copy but I don't even want to know how much that'd cost.

It looks like jibber jabber to me.

Nothing really coherent contained in the book.  Just one person's musings.

Perhaps the writing is significant.  Or  maybe that's jibber jabber, too.

A neat book, but useless, I feel, beyond the experience of another's imagination.

If I remember correctly there are drawings of a crashed spaceship in the codex.

My take on the book is a creature from a planet (planet A) crash lands on an alien world (planet B) who then documents the alien life. He then finds a way off the planet only to die in a crash on a third planet (earth) Having not survived the 2nd crash we are only left with the codex.

Also I think it's important to point out that a lot of research has gone into the writing of this book and most experts agree that the writing is real. The number system has been deciphered and the writing does seem to follow certain rules and patterns even though nobody has broken the actual code.

The pictures are nonsensical.

The only thing I make of the illustrations are that, perhaps, aliens have engineered things on a certain planet to mimic and mock what is on earth.  Improvements or improvisations to the real things here.

So.  A fish with a broom for a tail, with hair, with an astronaut's helmet, filled with water and littler fish...

I'm afraid it is the product of one's imagination.  Facts play no part in it, methinks...

Not trying to sound like a dick, but... Duh.

It's art man.  It's not meant to be a non-fiction reference manual.

From wiki:

Serafini has stated that the script of the Codex is asemic, that his own experience in writing it was closely similar to automatic writing, and that what he wanted his alphabet to convey to the 'reader' is the sensation that children feel in front of books they cannot yet understand, although they see that their writing does make sense for grown-ups.

Mission successful.
He was inspired by the Voynich Manuscript which is also pretty interesting.
I dont think either were meant to be understood :tongue2:

It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus.
All year long, the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter, while the
octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV.
But then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns.
Also he got a race car.
Is any of this getting through to you?

Lately I have been drawing these really weird things lately...

I will post a whole thread of them sometime soon.

I could be drawing it upside down for all I know!

Example:

But it makes me wonder if the guy had any fucking idea what he was drawing

I sure as hell don't and hope someone can tell me what it is. I go into some sort of trance... like Isaac from heroes used to :laugh2: Just thought of that!

I saw a picture of something someone drew out their Salvia experience and it looked somewhat like what I have been drawing.

I hope someone call tell me what they might be sometime... that would be amazing, insane, and well... insane... like some force making me draw these codes!

:awecid:
