trust me, when u get a good dose of acid there wont be any questioning about it.  The one thing I couldn't stop thinking during my first trip was: "I have never been so fucking high in my life" and "This is what they mean when they say 'high as kite'"

I agree with most people that what u described most closely resembles a threshold dose trip, meaning the LSD was active but not enough for full effects.

either try taking more or find wait for some dank shit to come around

I agree with everybody else, it definitely sounds like low dose LSD.
You can't expect the drug to enlighten you.
For a lot of people it changes their perspective to be able to see and appreciate things in a new light and after the trip they might have an "afterglow" that sounds like what you might be looking for.

What is the right reason?
By what standards is the right reason right?

I used to let this slide, but now it makes me irritated when people think that they trip for the right reasons and that they have the answers.

If its worth a fuck at all two should have you flying with some pretty decent visuals. Eat 3 next time, see how you feel, then dose again if necessary. Set and setting is also crucial. Sounds like you were walking around at daytime. While daytrips can be pretty cool. The real shit goes down at night. Its much more mystical/mysterious IMO. Especially when the stars are out. :dizope:

If i were you I would test the new stuff ur getting before dosing 5 hits. Would try 2 one weekend and wait till next weekend to do the 5. Sounds like your connect isnt all there. He may be getting different quality stuff from diff people. U don really kno. Anyways, I do think 5 would be a good dose for you to get you off visually and give you the experience your wanting if its the same stuff. And as far as enlightenment, try and track your thought patterns while tripping that is what lead to my most enlightening experiences.

I agree that you probably ate real LSD. Sounds very much like a low dose of LSD. After you get more used to the effects, and have some higher doses under your belt, those 'imagined' visuals on low doses like yours will stand out a lot more. Some people will feel really high and headfucked on a low first dose but get no visuals at all - I feel like this is because they don't know how to look for them yet. Your 'imagined' patterns were probably the real thing...on low doses they can seem transparent and questionable as to whether or not you're imagining them, but higher doses of LSD are more like you described, IE intense patterns that are undeniable and overwhelming. Your LSD was probably pretty weak. Sounds like about half the strength of the stuff I usually deal with, as two is almost always enough for good visuals. Don't worry, you won't be let down on a bigger dose.

I think visuals are awesome. They're definitely entertaining. Who are you to decide what tripping is for anyway? Some people just like to get high. I don't think LSD is that good for introspection anyway, I reserve mushrooms for that and LSD for getting 'high as a kite'
