Dropped my first two tabs of LSD and it was sort of a let down..Im not shore if it was LSD or what..

Here is my other thread with a picture of the 6 strip I bought and a little more information-http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11989319. I bought this for my first time, and payed 70 bucks for it. Now 1 month later I think its about time I tell the shroomery about what happened, and let them decide if this was actual LSD.

I woke up early (approximately 7:30 on a Thursday) and there wasn't any school, so I dropped two tabs which tasted like nothing, just paper. Then I told my mom I was going to go to this ski resort by my house with a friend for the day, and I was going to walk to my friends house and we would leave, my mom fell for it and I threw on my snowboarding gear and grabbed my board and decided to walk to this private school nearby with stores nearby and a beautiful scenery thinking this would be the best place to trip. I was warm, extremely happy, and had Pink Floyd blaring in my ear for the next 1 and a half and it began, I noticed a good amount of euphoria running through me. I then noticed everything seemed more "colorful" and I wrote in my phone that everything looked like I was watching a 3d movie, without the glasses. And I got all excited that I was actually about to witness real LSD visuals. But instead the trip pretty much stayed this way the whole time. I could also close my eyes and see little faint colors floating around. OEV's were nothing but noticeable colors which were kind of standing out.
       
About 2 hours of this I wanted a change of scenery and was sort of cold so I walked to the nearby Dunkin' Donuts, when I walked in I glanced at at this guy and i could of swore I saw a DJ spinning a disc and I quickly looked back only to see a guy sitting there, it was weird. Then I and sat down to really analyze the trip. I then started thinking "ohh, the reason why i'm not hallucinating is because you have to be in the dark to see stuff", I really don't know... But anyways, everything looked so WEIRD, like I was watching people entering and leaving and they just looked SO FUCKING FUNNY, idk why. i just could not help myself laugh at people. I quickly got up to go to the bathroom to look at my eyes and they were big and glossy and my face looked "different", I just cannot explain this feeling of everything looking foreign. This feeling staying with me throughout the trip. I also noted dim but large halos around lights. I then went home and smoke some bud and that really made it more intense, i could just look at my phone and it would pop out at me. If I sat in my room with the lights off, nothing very visually happens except very very very faint patterns, I was mostly imagining them. Then my mom entered my room and was crying and was telling me about how my dad was being an asshole and i thought it would throw me into a bad trip, but instead I just shrugged it off and it didn't effect me. But when my mom looked up at me her face once again set off this feeling that it looked so strange, like i'v never seen her before in my life. Weird. I would like to also add that I was confused most of the time what was going on but could process some things well. I wasn't slurring at all either and i handled talking to my mom no problem at all.

    Next morning was completely normal and when I got in my car I noticed a rainbow out of the corner of my eye, it was cool and when my eyes focused on it, it just disappeared. But it stayed there for awhile and was pretty cool I must say. overall, I was dissapointed by this and i asked the dude who sold it to me and he said "idk what to tell ya dude, it was acid". Idk if I believe him or not because this was my first time ever buying off him and trying it in my life so I have nothing to compare to. But the feeling that overtook this trip the most was this feeling that things look "strange", and "different". I am thinking this could be an RC of some sort, i'm think 2c-i, but I haven't checked out an other RC's besides this and DOB and I don't believe it's DOB since it tasted like paper.It might be weak acid, but my trip closely relates a couple 2c-i trips I have read so idk. But my other 2 trips were exactly the same. I'm buying 8 more off this kid soon for Alice In Wonderland and he's telling me that he's buying off a different kid which makes him trip absolute balls every time. He said that he didn't trip his first time off this kids acid either, but afterwards did. Please Shroomery, help me discover what it was the hell I took because I really wanna know, I just can't figure it out! If it was a normal dose of LSD then that was a COMPLETE let down. I was expecting to get thrown into another world mentally and visually..

Sounds like it was fun, just not enough. Sounds like some really really weak LSD... try a bit more next time.

well the fact that it just tasted like paper usually will rule out most RC's
and faint patterns/colors are common.
and i ALWAYS get that shift, where things just look different somehow.

My first couple trips with acid, I knew something was different but it was hard to exactly place... Black was blacker, green was greener. Etc. Now that I've done so much acid that I lost track, I have come to feel you get what you put in. That is to say, you gotta make yourself trip. Like one time I was like, well I should be able to paint with my eyes, and make ripple effects with my hands... and bam it happened. Closed eye visuals always seem stronger too, unless you take a lot of acid.

yea sounds like low-dose LSD to me, were things have a slight waterpainting kinda look to them and slight OEVs mild CEVs.

With a medium dose do you have very vivid OEV's and CEV's and big headfuck, or no? Like will everything like warp and morph and turn into patterns and get really intense or am I expecting too much? I just can't see how you can have any type of enlightment by not seeing anything.. I judge the trip by strength of the visuals to how potent it was.

weak hits. its probably some sub-standard work paper, probably 50 mics or so. you see this type of paper alot in places where there is little supply and bad connections, or at major-type commercial festivals with lots of custies who don't know their shit.

I got the same thing man, my first time too. I did one weak WoW blotter. Things were stranger, I felt on the edge of it, but not really. I prefer low dose mushrooms.

yeah lol, odvousely I don't if I'm asking questions about it? And no lol, I wasn't getting any visual that really stood out at me, just the color brightness. But would 5 tabs of this same kind be too much or perfect? I'm 6' 1'' and 180lbs.

5 tabs at 50 mics = 250 mics that should be plenty to trip if it actually has any molecule on it at all.

that being said, the first time you experience a real good dosing off some heady, clean L, visuals will be more of a side attraction. the greatest effect will come from the incredibly expanded scope of your perception and of your mind. thought patterns will connect and coalesce, forming vast galaxies of knowledge. it will open up neurological pathways that you've never before utilized, and manifest from mind will be things that you previously thought existed only in the realm of the supernatural.

That's what I was getting at. ^^^ 

It is all about the mental clarity. Personally I don't think you are going to get any more enlightened from psychedelics. It is good for freeing the mind into contemplation and addressing life issues. psychedelics are not a practice in themself though in my humble opinion, but rather they are an aid. Relying on psychedelics to achieve enlightenment defeats the purpose. sorta an oxymoron if you will.

This is merely my opinion though and I'm sure there are a few enlightened shamans here who will dispute this.

I think me and you have different aspects as to what "enlightment" is. I am looking to psycadelics for a better attitude on life, much happier person, spiritual, and just opening my mind to what god gave us. Is enlightment kind of like you end the trip a better person, or does a goddess appear before your eyes and go "do better at work" or something weird like that, that motivates you..?
