I've tripped 3 times so far--once on shrooms and twice on acid--and still haven't been able to find that "mindblowing" trip that everyone talks about, you know? I took 1 hit of acid the first time, and 2 1/2 the second time, and I took an eighth of shrooms once. Yet none of these times have been the egoless, hallunation-filled trips that I hear about. WTF? The hardest I've tripped was actually on Robitussin(Oops, I guess that means I've actually tripped 4 times, doesn't it?), but I had a sense that it wasn't how a strong shroom or acid trip would be like. How much do I need to take to "break on through to the other side," as Jim Morrison put it?

Yeah take six DRIED grams of some good well-prepared shrooms and lay in a comfortable place that is as dark and silent as possible. Then close your eyes and chill out for a couple hours. If that doesn't make you trip I don't know what will.

i ate accidentaly almost 50-60g fresh cubes (pf classic) on the new year's eve!
i was transfered into another world! out of the planet for sure!! even though i was a bit scared cuz i was hearing voices from the inside of my head etc etc.
unbeliavable experience!!!

if you want to dabble your toes in extreme trip-land, try salvia. you'll be completely gone but fortunately you come back pretty quickly. if interested, read a lot about it first especially trip reports and bad experiences at erowid.org.

incidentally, i have eaten rather large quantities of acid and have never "left earth". i can get real lost on shrooms, but acid has never gotten me completely gone even on large doses. salvia and N2O have been by far the most bizarre experiences i've had.

i think it also depends if you try and fight it and be like "GOD DAMNIT WHY WONT THIS WORK" and it wont. have you tried relaxing clearing your mind and meditating before you took those? have you tried letting yourself go and be open to the experience or do you get something in your head before how it will be like and nothing happens?

acid is weak , you cant get a proper trip from 1 or 2 hits i always took at least 4 hits to feel anything worth feeling . like 10 hits for a pretty good trip. also i dont consider dxm a "trip" really.

i agree, you may have shitty LSD! i remember eatting 2-3 boss blotters and been out of the planet:-p. i also remember eatting 10-11 clown blotters and just tripping.

I couldn't agree with Dragon or Ham anymore, must be some bunk ass Cid (All about the quality is Right)- but what I really wanted to focus on was the talk of the shrooms- you guys talkin about needing 6-10dried grams of PF homegrown?? Damn- I don't know if I'm just abnormally sensitive or they were just hella hella potent but I found about 1.5g's of dried cubes last June and was totally just whacked outta my skull for 9 hrs or more....... anybody ever read the level 4 report " Raped By the Devil " ? well thats how far off the planet I got.
(maybe I would react wayy differently now but I'm sure if I had 6 or 10 dried g's of any mush I would experience nothing less than Ego-Death- even tho the 1.5gs pretty much did that to me anyways..

yeah I gotta back you up.... when my associate had a vial it would take 1-2 drops to make people trip balls, and anything more than 5 would just make the trip last longer; it wouldn't get any stronger past that point.
