Using an amp for your headphones

I didn't realize the difference it makes to sound until recently. I don't even have a dedicated headphone amp, or incredible headphones, but they're pretty nice.

I'm using a stereo amp from the 80's, makes the sound SO much better than say straight from the computer or iPod. Everyone must experience music in nice headphones now I have to say - just got some nice ones a couples month ago and it's revitalized my love for music!
