chicago, new york and DC all had bans on hand guns, apparently the city
can do it, I know illinois has a ban on suppressors and I believe on other
NFA weapons, and you're right, it's generally done on the state level

my buddy has a suppressor on his Walther p22. I know its only a small handgun but he  has a suppressor legally. But the price he paid was like 500 and then another 200 intaxes. The gun it self only cost 450 so thats kind of retarted.

You can own almost any type of gun in America. Even if you don't have the license, just go to a gun show. Many people there just don't care.

I can take a civilian AR-15 and modify the trigger-assembly with a piece of 3" nylon string. Easily converts your single-fire setting to full-auto.

It takes about 5 minutes, and you can shoot +/- 800 rounds a minute.

Although the barrel will glow red if you sustain that rate of fire, and likely burn your hands; even with the heat guards in place.

Well the handgun ban has been overturned and ruled unconstitutional in many of Chicago's surrounding areas. The mayor says he wont over turn it until some one gets him out of offices. fucking asshole.

Also folding stocks and pistol grips ARe illegal. I want my sks here dammit!

Burst can be effective and actuate with proper training. If you go full auto and just go Rambo on everything, you will likely just waste ammo and possible fuck up your gun.

Practice your breathing and fire in 3 round bust when you go on auto. That way you have fair better accuracy Good shooting

supreme court > mayor of chicago... everyone should file a lawsuit against

A little update so the case is being heard on  Jan. 19th.

It amazes me that this asshole sells the parking meters to some private company. The private company jacks up the price by 200 percent. its like 10 dollars to park downtown for an hour now. Also parking is now never free (used to be free on weekends and nights). Also writing tickets like crazy now..... Did I mention that more then half of the money is gone. I fucking hate dirty chicago politicians.

To bad the handgun ban doesn't lower crime at all. Some studies suggest it increases crime due to the fact that lawful citizens cant defend them selfs
