distractionary topic shift

your more interested in being right then evaluating the facts which you push aside or sweep under the carpet

you then go on to state several things without any supporting evidence

but this is over because I know where these loops of madness always end up

I'm sure you know alot about circular logic and madness.:rofl:

You offered me not a single valid argument against anyone of my claims.

I DGAF what you believe, dont look up anything that I just told you I mean it's not like I watched 30min of that ridiculous video which proved NOTHING.:rolleyes:

So tell me who is more open minded, the atheist who grew up in a devout Christian home was force fed only Christian propaganda until the age of 17 and still gave you the benifit of the doubt and watched your video, or the guy telling me I am pushing something under the carpet and since I didnt provide any sources for my info (which can be found on google) refuses to even look into what was said?

present the evidence and I will evaluate it

I want to know that what your saying is actually coming from a place of some type of knowledge and not just what you heard some guy say on tv

Rule of logical debate.

You are the one claiming that a magical being created the entire universe for the human race so the burden of proof is on you.

Atheism (contrary to popular thought) is just the absence of belief.

I do not claim there is no God however I do not believe in one.

I will claim with as much certainty as I have in the sun rising this morning that the Bible and the Qur'an are false and their Gods non-existant.

I presented the evidence you asked for

the topic is that evidence and the fact that it correlates with what is written in the bible

logically I have to accept this as evidence that it did actually happen

whether or not you believe this was through God is not apart of this individual discussion which is the evidence proving that the bible is at least partially correct concerning history

this is scientific evidence of the bible being correct

but you don't want to stick to the topic or back up anything you have to say

you want to play the same stupid games all atheist's seem to play

The evidence for evolution is fairly complex and I really suggest that you do the research your self.

If you are in college take what is commonly known as the "general biology sequence" it is what bio/chem majors take during their first year in college.

Honestly I am done with you, if you are to consider yourself a philosopher in any way than you should pursue truth, which you are not doing ATM sorry to say.

the worst debate I've ever had was with an actual atheist archaeologist

he was incapable of sticking to a topic

he stated many things which were wrong(and i Proved it)

he was so puffed up filled with pride thinking that he was above me intellectually

but he refused to present evidence, mocked my sources instead of tackling the content etc etc etc

he kept asking me to check out his papers on something COMPLETELY irrelevant to the topic to establish some type of superiority over me

it was appeal to authority(in this case himself) to the umpteenth degree

so don't feel so bad is my point lol

your not the only one

You presented a video that was 100% off topic and is in no way shape or form evidence of the bible being correct.

Creationists believe the universe is less than 10 thousand years old.

If you cared enough you could find it yourself.

You refer to those who believe in Young Earth Creationism, not all Creationists.

There is also Old Earth Creationism.  The evidence is heavily in favor of an old Earth which is consistent with the bible.

This site  http://www.kjvbible.org ; is devoted entirely to this point of view and contains relevant evidence.

"    Note this first: in the last days there will come men who scoff at religion and live self-indulgent lives, and they will say: 'Where now is the promise of his coming? Our fathers have been laid to their rest, but still everything continues exactly as it has always been since the world began.'
    In taking this view they lose sight of the fact that there were heavens and earth long ago, created by God's word out of water and with water; and by water that first world was destroyed, the water of the deluge.  And the present heavens and earth, again by God's word, have been kept in store for burning; they are being reserved until the day of judgement when the godless will be destroyed
."  2 Peter 3-7

All must humble themselves before our Creator and repent of their sins and believe on the Messiah whom was sent out of the gracious mercy of Him.  His mercy and forgiveness is being offered to ALL who repent and believe.

I'll apologize to God for being sinful when He apologizes for creating me that way.  Seems fair.  :shrug:

I would think he could be the bigger man here, but I guess not.  :rolleyes:

Romans 9:

18So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires.

19You will say to me then, "Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?"

20On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it?

21Or does not the potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use?

22What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction?

23And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,

24even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles.

Proverbs 1:

20Wisdom shouts in the street,
        She lifts her voice in the square;
    21At the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
        At the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings:
    22"How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded?
        And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing
        And fools hate knowledge?

    23"Turn to my reproof,
        Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
        I will make my words known to you.
    24"Because I called and you refused,
        I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention;
    25And you neglected all my counsel
        And did not want my reproof;
    26I will also laugh at your calamity;
        I will mock when your dread comes,
    27When your dread comes like a storm
        And your calamity comes like a whirlwind,
        When distress and anguish come upon you.
    28"Then they will call on me, but I will not answer;
        They will seek me diligently but they will not find me,
    29Because they hated knowledge
        And did not choose the fear of the LORD.
    30"They would not accept my counsel,
        They spurned all my reproof.
    31"So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way
        And be satiated with their own devices.
    32"For the waywardness of the naive will kill them,
        And the complacency of fools will destroy them.
    33"But he who listens to me shall live securely
        And will be at ease from the dread of evil."

And these Bible quotes somehow prove that is wrong? You know that this is a debate-oriented forum, right?

are you claiming that I cannot post bible verses germane to the points being made?

OK, lets say "the potter has a right over the clay".

That changes...nothing.  He created my sinful self knowing I would challenge Him in this way. :shrug:

Basically my only purpose is to be a bad clay pot? Thanks God. :stoned:

He needs to get over His Holiness and apologize to his damned creation.  Or just get it over with and destroy me.

SMITE ME!!!!!!!!! DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
