Re: What do you think makes humans magical beings? [Re: The24HourMC]
    #11580404 -

There is some good stuff here!

I laughed hard at the "Wands" response.

I agree that the universe is magical and we are not the only magical beings, nor are we the most magical. As far as Earth is concerned though, I think we may be the most magical organic beings because of what I mentioned in the original post, we can think about thinking. This opens up infinity to humankind in a way that no other organism can reach. Because we can think about thinking, we can love love, hate hate, communicate about communication, learn how to learn, there are probably more but I am choosing not to think about it because my time is limited. This opens up so much! We can consciously choose to love, to hate, to communicate, to learn. This conscious choice is what I was referring to as navigating infinity.

Lennybernadino: I love your last post about humans playing their ecological role. I totally agree. But its painful to watch us tear up the earth and all this biomass.

Honestly, I personally don't believe humans are more significant than any other other entities in this multi-dimensional Universe. I think we're more blessed than other organisms because of our highly-advanced intellectual capabilities. Some of us are intelligent enough to discover the existence of God and perhaps even the eternal element to life. This sets us apart from the animal kingdom because it gives us the ability to evolve our consciousnesses, paving the way to higher levels of existence.

I believe we are designed to be the most advanced possible to feed some spiritual beings wth our complex perceptions of the universe but not so advanceds that we can just break free and not feed said spiritual being .

As far as what makes a human magical, I would say that this is a trick question because no human can perform supernatural feats as everything that is possible is by definition natural.  As far as performing feats that violate the conventional understanding of things, though, I would say a deep understanding of the way things work is necessary.

It should be added that what modern human scientist define as the laws of physics and what they think are naturally possible are not the way things work, they are simply a use of the way things work and those who fall under their mental domain especially those who believe them are trapped by these rules while others are not, and some people are not trapped by such things and are able to function outside the socially mantained view of the world as described by the so call modern teachings of the real world . Every other life form has its own laws of physics and each also has ones who break those laws .

First some background on how I veiw "sin" differently than most humans.  Drinking, smooking, adultery, murder, that's not sin.  Sin is when you don't believe in our creator, when you don't believe in love.

This is why people do things that hurt others, because they don't believe in "the greatest good" so to speak.

"We wonder why we're running along here, men and women, why that we wear clothes and have to strive, and the animals don't. God feeds His little old birds and takes care of everything else. But we have to shift for ourself. Is because sin separated us from our Maker. That's what did it. Now, man as he's moving along...

You don't see the animal embettering himself. He can't embetter himself. If he gets any better treatment, it's got to come from some other source. He doesn't build hisself a better house. He doesn't make hisself fry his meat, where he used to eat it raw. See? It has to be done because he... There's nothing in him to give him a soul. A animal doesn't have a soul.

But a man has a soul. And therefore, that soul is a part of God. And even in its fallen state, yet it's the most greatest specie of all the species of the earth, is the man. And then get him in connection with his Maker, he becomes a superman almost, because he's a son of God. He becomes acquainted with his Maker, with the Creator of all things. And then when that man there, acquainted with his Maker, becomes a part of his Maker, becomes back into fellowship with his Maker, every Divine Word becomes a living reality to him, and he believes it.

No wonder people can't believe Divine healing today. They haven't got nothing to believe with. Until God comes into the human heart, a man is not much better than a brute. His reason, he will think it all out, "How can this be?" And explain it all away. But when God ever takes His position in the human heart all the reasonings fade away, and God becomes first."

This experiance is what seperates us from animals and makes us "magical" (besides the wands).  It also seperates us from other humans.  Not all people are drawn to the light.  Not all humans can have this experience.  But this is just what I believe to be true and my opinion isn't worth any more than anyone else's.

Well, as long as they're "magic"

Iin Ayuhuasca I saw sin as what sperates us from god, what lowers our conciousness, and what distances ourselves from out true nature, those are wrds, what I saw it as though was this downard pulling force that we must resist or through these sins it will drain away our energy and awareness and make us loose our connection with the universe it causes not to express our true nature .

Actually animals do try to "embetter" themselves. They build dens and nests and try to drive off competition so to control the hunting in their region. If they get weak from lack of food then they hunt. If they are social animals they gather or build whatever they need to get a mate: the bluebird gathers blue etc. And why is frying meat any better then raw unless its for storage? What is a soul that you think only humans have one? My cat has more soul in his one paw then many of these zombie humans walking around asleep and lost?

But yes OT humans are "majikal" creatures in theory. As said b4 all is majik and humans can believe in that or not. It is like a common street magicians trick tho: he does something with his left hand and draws your attention and with his right he produces the coin from a hidden place. Humanity is constantly staring at the left hand. When someone comes along and holds up something in their right hand then people clap and say "good majik trick". But it was really there all along no? Its just we choose to be distracted by whats in front of us. Hidden in plain sight so to speak is majik. The elephant in the room no one see's or seems to want to speak about.

SO science yes. its a nice way of classification of what is. But yes ppl put to much worth on science. But science is the new way. In a way science is about making a living or a coin. Once it was majik. Its about words/ theory that is common. You cant trade in common idea's or words: everyone knows them. The education we recieve for "free" up to grade 12 is enuf to be useful cogs in the machine and no more. If we pay more (uni) we get more learning and so are more useful cogs. But it is about paying. The education in a slave conscience is nessissary to society for new cogs for the machine and its difficult to break that "education" and see things in a new way. It will make u a freak.

Not wanting to be a complete downer tho: its better to see that society is just the what it is. we are what we are. Nothing and everything makes us magical. talking about it makes it less so but we still do. my cat never talks about it: he just does it. speaking is just grunts and such its so basic but thats where we are most of the time. when u know an the ones with you know there is no spekaing: when u have balance and awareness it is just knowning and its shared. Speaking about it is like venting atmosphere: we need the obscurity like earth needs clouds and atmosphere: if every day was sparkling and clear then the earth would die: no rain u see,,, no fog.

its a big subject. scattered i can only put word to thoughts maybe they add up to something? grunts are poetry to those who can sing but dont think themselves better then another. magic wont make u better then another is will make u worse. knowledge is sexy and attractive but it is a responsibility and a burden. Do ask if you dont want to know someone has added here: thats pretty good idea. remember to forget to remember to forget is a way that enables collective unconscience existance - its about balance.

can you do your job job and remain balanced? can u interact with the everyday? bits and pieces yes but no its a material world we cant all live away from it so probably not so remember to forget.

All i meant was that animals do these things by instinct.  I believe they have a spirit (feelings) but not a soul (an eternal energy being)  I understand that not everyone feels this way.  They are here for us to enjoy.  We give them love and they love us in return.  But as a human, I can choose to love those who treat me badly and hate me.  Animals simply rely on instinct.  Treat them poorly enough and they will a)run away.  or B) attack you and claw your face off.

There have even been many stories of animals who love their owners and are treated well and then one day just "snap".  I have heard animal trainers say that just the wrong sound at the right moment can do this.  Most  humans can control themselves better than that.  We Choose to be better.

Animals can communicate but you never see them coming together to try and use this communication to figure out how they can help other animals, end world hunger, move other animals out of danger zones, or better those that are less fortunate than themselves.  They are interested in themselves and their small group of relatives.  They mean to survive.  They are honest, instinctive, and wonderful.

Does any of this help?

I am not dissing on them, I love animals, I love nature.  I feel about a hundred times more at peace in the forest with wild animals than I do in the company of many people.  Whether it be my family or complete strangers.  I feel at home in the wild.

I have long thought that the human race would be better off if people didn't talk quite so much.  Lots of talk and virtually no walk as far as I am concerned.  Including myself at times.  Things would be better if people had to do, do, do instead of say, say, say.

Like you said, it is a big subject, these are just my small thoughts.

:lmafo:  Maybe never personnally but there was this one that lived on the second story balcony of an apartment complex I lived in in Florida, and it would sing very loudly with the radio.  For the longest kind of time I thought it was a person that couldn't sing worth a rip.  Then on day I was standing below where it stay at and they had moved the cage out so I saw it.  About that time, a big red chow came around the corner and the parrot said "oh no, daaaawgy"  It was hilarious.  I loved that bird.  Not long after that I heard that it flew away. :nonono:  Or the maid stole it, whatever.lol

Some animals, plants, and fungi go against the modalities of their species, and meditate, and do strange magical things that others of their species do not do .

I don't personally believe all humans are magical...
I think some reject this aspect of themselves and render it useless.
I think to truly tap into this power, one must have full
belief that it actually exists in the first place.

What do I know though, I'm a little odd.  :crazy2:

But not all humans do meditate , nor do all animals ,plants, or fungi, but mayebe all of them can . And it is a choice often made by others for us wether to recognize our magical nature or remain ignorant of it, most do not realise that it is even a choice . And we all tap into exactly the same power it is just some people who pay attention to the power itself and eamine how they tap into it and maybe make a more delibberate decision on what to do with it while others use it like everyone else uses it without havig a clue what they are using or that it could be used ina different way.

Wow really cool lenny, what kind of animals did you see do what exactly? And about meditation being in our nature.. that is something really weird, I've discovered many yoga poses during tripping, and I've read about other people having experienced the same thing. Meditation and yoga etc seems to be something natural? How is that possible?

I have had the pleasure of knowing a few magical animals, plants, and fungi wich did not observe the laws of nature and behaved in quite extroardinary ways, I suppose since this is the shroomery it would be appropriate to tell the tale of a strange mushroom I once met . I was hunting in 10mile drive in Monterey, California finding candy caps and reallya a lot of giant cypress agricuses, one or two boletes an I was walking by when this mushroom burst suddenly out of the ground I jumped startled ! Heart thumping there was this yellow musrhoom on a twtwo foot stalk leaves were actually missplaced by the suddeness of this mushroom emerging , I am not sure if it was a good idea but I had to ID it so I picked it . It turned out to be an Amanita Gemnata, at that time in my point I have never tried any psychadelic or eve illegal drugs , I was not probe to visions or anything I was still rather young like 16 years old . Never forget that and, NO I DID NOT EAT IT!
It is us who decided the laws of nature and the limits we fillow that is a natural process and so is altering those decisins sometimes everybody and every life form does this most do it within a very species acceptable limit others push it farther like that gemmed amanita .

yeah really spot on and ya know what? when your having a really good chat with someone and they say something like you havent really thought of thinking about b4 - like a different perspective on something. And your like oh yeah "i knew that" cause it just clicks and makes sense. Thats kinda the feeling.

Life is a journey that is constant detours and the detours make it interesting and what not - the fact its all happened b4 and your doing it over and over isnt really meant to be a bad thing. its a good thing well as good as you choose to make it.
