Roasted my cakes

So I've been lurking and absorbing info for months and a couple days ago I finally started my first shroom grow using pf method. And I wish my first post was more positive.
I spent half a day making my kitchen hospital clean. Then I scrubbed in.. gloves, mask - check.
Inoculated a total of 16 jars - 8 brazilian, 8 lipa yai - and put them in a incubation chamber with a electric blanket underneath (house is COLD). I meant to monitor the temps closely til it was dialed in, but instead I promptly fell asleep.
When I woke up, it was way hot in there.. I panicked and took everything out and didn't think to check the temps.

Now it's running at a constant 80degrees, and has been approximately 24hours since the incident..

Turns out, they lived. 12 Jars stalled.. the 4 alternative containers I used thrived (small sized deli containers, like when you order a small hot n sour soup).
The first ones appear to be ready to pluck tonight.. veils torn on the two biggest and the one showing its ass to us. Very excited.
These are thai lipa yai.

:thumbup: I have incubated at 60 degrees with no problems. Just a bit slower! Nice shrooms!

Thanks for the support. I have a belly full of shrooms and they're just coming over me. I can't believe how fast these grow, especially compared to my usual hobby:

super silver haze - I always thought it was interesting that the trichomes look rather shroomlike.

It was pretty intense. I haven't tripped in about ten years.. so yea, quite a ride, with a few waves of fear and panic along the way, but overall, not bad. Lots of introspection on some heavy issues in my life, weird body feeling, slight visual distortions.

Anyway, here's the first cake of Brazilians, more mushrooms, much darker caps. The veil is already tearing away on very small fruits, but I think this is listed as a brazilian trait.
