why are all of my burmas doing this? genetics?! - picture

it must be genetics... the only full mushrooms that grew off the cakes had TINY caps that broke away from he veil almost immediately and continued to get fatter stems...

looking at your picture it may be too high humidity with not enough FAE, unless you just misted them before taking the pic.

ive had this problem,  i thought the same, i think its genetics though.
RR suggested maybe virus could cause it also.

I had an awesome clone culture and it was consistent for 5-6 grows and then started growing all mutants and bad flushes one day.

That kinda points to virus.

BTW,i know someone doing burma right now, ill see what his does.

lol i didnt mist them. i looked at them one day to see if the trays were ready to fruit and there were a bunch of pin/abort looking mushrooms, so i left them on and theyre slowly getting bigger.

HAHA If you think those are fucked up then check out this burma casing I did. Every first flush was like this, then every flush after grew nice huge healthy normal fruits.

weird. so im not the only one with similar results. must be the genetics. it took forever for mycelium to show up, and was the slowest growing outr of 4 strains.
