Petri Dish Work.

Here are some dishes.. I am gona transfer some mycelium from them to some new dishes..  These are from a spore print..  Where do you think I should take the tissue from?

I would do 9 o'clock on the first.. and 12 o'clock on the second

I also generally take 3 or 4 from surrounding areas and grow each out. I am on my fourth transfer on some GT spores.. just checked them and awesome rhizo growth has poppped up from what started like crap :smile: .. I like dishes

Will do.. I just been waiting I just ordered 500 petri dishes and they arrived today.. So time to do some transferring.

What do you find is the best method for pc'ing the medium before pouring. What I mean is what type of vessel do you use to pc it?

I agree I would take a little bit smaller sections then what elixer has drawn. Although if I was going to take them to grain I would cut that size wedge. Just my thought.

I am gona be transferring them to more dishes, then after that transfer probably to a master grain jar, and some type of master slant.

Here look through the below link, they sell some with screw on tops.  Those are glass they also have some in the plastic section.
