well i wont have to make any adjustments really. i have pipe caps for the unused chambers, and i can dial down/up the fan and the ultrasonic mister. but in reality: yes, the 30 minutes a day i will spend checking all the tubs when everything is going full board will suck..(or will it?)

Thats all those windows are (plexiglass). light is important but not that important. bombarding it with humidity and fresh air will do wonders for your grow though.

i hope in the upcoming weeks i can prove that automated bulk grows on coir are possible. i have read alot of negative posts regarding both.

I have employed a full staff of migrant workers to harvest for me. they are hiding in the tubs :laugh:

thanks for the shrooms everyone.

a little update, the drip chamber fills up rather fast, maybe .5 inch an hour, so i'm investing in a small water pump to move the water from the drip chamber back up into the reservoir tank. i might put it on a timer, but i may just manually set it off twice a day.

does anyone know if a water pump will burn out if on while there is no water too pump? i thought about putting in a float switch but that's a little overkill hehe.

The water pump could burn out because alot of pumps use the water to cool the motor. I like your setup its simular to what I have but much bigger. had to shut mine down though because i was producing way too much for me and all my friends to handle.

hehe yeah it will suck. Very nice setup tho. Im not realy sure if that humidifier setup is realy usefull ( people have great succes with only hole ) but I can't wait to see the result!

talking about the monotub setup. People have succes just drilling hole in the tub for fae and using the substrate moisture to make humidity.
