It's not sleep paralysis (I get this frequently and it sucks).

You were just dreaming, or partially dreaming. I have dreams equally as bizarre sometimes. It happens.

Lucky man you are, I used to dream deeper than that all the time. Once you stop digging in deep you will have a hard time getting into that perception again. Have you never died in your dreams before? No it will not kill you...

I die so many times in my dreams,It's always a dark (sometimes white light) floaty feeling when i get killed,nothing really bad at death...Just pretty interesting.

Then another dream scene or whatever arises after.

I always get killed by a ninja at my door, and i try to escape him and he always catches me and cuts my head off. I tried fighting him, or begging, or running, or killing him.. But he always gets me eventually. I once killed him, and the dream just started again at my front door. It just cycles 100-200 times a night.

I thought I knew what lucid dreaming was... but shit, I read a few descriptions of WILD and thats exactly what it is (I think). It even mentions the noise and everything... Does this happen to you too?

My brother gets this!

Haha, when I was reading this It was just as my brother said.

He always tells me about that sound when you yawn, how it sounds like your underwater he said.

Well one time when we were younger he said he fell asleep in class and he was hearing that sound and he was awake but his body was sleeping.

I remember he was just sitting there in class.

He said when the bell rang he saw everybody leave but he wasn't able to move.

He used to sleep walk too so I think what you have is some sort of sleeping disorder like that. My brother never did drugs so it wasn't caused by them.

The thing I really found funny was the sound you said you could hear (the yawning sound) because we always laugh when my brother trys to describe it

anyways I hope you find out what it is

If you really want to get into the Lucid Dreaming, you must get beyond the being safe. What does it mean to be safe? Fear makes the entire dream world safe, even the scary ones...think about it. I don't want to give you to much at once so take your time.

Its basically sleep paralysis, and you wake up, but theres a "demon" or black shadow over your bed. You get the feeling of choking and tightness around the throat but can do nothing. DSM class it under visual/auditory hallucinations, and it is purpotedly quite common. Happened to me max 3 times.


I think that's happened to me before. I was laying in bed, asleep i guess but it was the most real feeling asleep ever, and I had a sleep mask on (haha i know silly, i'm a girl tho :p and an annoying light was on) and I was laying there and heard a shuffling of jean pants or something by my bed and then I felt something climb on my bed and start shaking me, but i couldnt move and i could hardly see from under the mask, and then i guess i woke up. but i was terrified. needless to say i dont wear the mask anymore. but it happened another time anyway.

I was asleep but not, same feeling. And all of the sudden it felt like something entered my body and was trying to take over me and i flung myself onto the ground and tried to fight it out. But then when I woke up I was in my bed. Idk what this all is but it was scary. especially since my apartment building is supposedly haunted.
