Survey: Sleeping on Shrooms

Ok, so we were having this conversation in the chat room about tripping, and the topic of sleep came up. I have found it impossible to sleep while tripping on shrooms, yet others have said that they have no trouble whatsoever. Hence, this post.


Please fill in the following info:

Are you able to sleep on:
low doses?
high doses?

Are you using any other drugs in addition to shrooms at the time?

What is your theory as to why you can or cannot sleep?

Regardless of dose I cannot sleep.  I have unlimited energy infact!  The last time that I ate 4grams I ended up riding my bike around town for 4 hours straight!  And I wasn't putzing along, I was moving as fast as I could.  I was amazed at the time how I wasn't getting tired (almost like Superman!) but the next day I was sore as shit!  :frown: 
Doesn't everyone get antsy?

I know I can never sleep either.
and LOVE riding my bike on shrooms its soo fuckn trippy.
and Yes I can chill for a long time but could never fall asleep, not until I came down at least.
Dont know why, guess it you werent meant to sleep on them, its like a dream when your awake.
But of heard of people having trippy dreams on it though.????

I couldnt ever sleep.

One time though probably right around the peak I stood up and delcaired that I was tired and was going to try to lay down and sleep... I smoked some weed a little eariler, maybe thats why I felt tired. Anyway, I stood around for about 20 minutes, then sat back down and tripped out the rest of the night.

It was wierd, I felt tired, and like I could sleep - never happened before.

On mushrooms I cannot sleep no matter what I dose, I am a senstive user though, .25 grams is a strong level 1 trip, while .75 grams is a level 2/3 depending on if I ate anything/etc.

wait a second: while ON shrooms? no sleep; as soon as they ware off (4-6 hrs after ingestion): generally no problem. normally combine cannabis only with shrooms

There is know way I could sleep on shrroms. My mind is way to active and I continuously think about how the universe fits together.

I can't sleep myself on them. had started takeing over the counter sleeping pills to help this but i was haveing to take a 3X dose of them to feel anything and wasn't going to risk anymore.

Yes, yes, and sometimes I just nap, I don't it could really be called sleep. I like it though because in a 20 minute power nap, I can have the most vivid dreams..

I'm with mirkey on this one, I can't sleep on high doses or low doses. I like to smoke weed on shrooms. Weed usually helps me sleep. No, I still don't sleep on shrooms + weed, not even if I smoke when I'm done tripping. It forces me to stay awake to ponder the trip for awhile to get more meaning out of it. (Is what I think)

Almost everyone I have seen can sleep on them. I cant tho and its seems like most people cant either. I can do the thing where i switch my mind off tho, thats trippy that you should mention that cuz thats exactly what i do.. i say in my mind "ok im going to shut off my mind cuz im thinking too much" and i can actually fucking do it.. this is weird for me because normally i dont have too much control over my thoughts..

Ok I have tried on high doses and realised i had to get up early oin the morning.
So I lay down and just as i felt my self nodding of there was a high intense painfull buzzing sound in my skull with a blinding intense painfull light. That kept scaring the shit out of me. It like someone pushing a fog horn in your face just as you nodd of. Any one know why this happens. I have never heard anyone else experience this.
