Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.

That sounds hard to believe that they don't have any wax paper. There's a lot of applications in cooking. Did you ever ask an employee to help you?

If they truly don't have any wax paper, try a different/larger grocery store.

It was a H-E-B.. its a rather big/popular grocery store. I'm sure they have it but probably just put it in some odd place. There usually isn't anyone standing around ready to answer your questions, and since I was already shoping, I did not want to ask the cashier.. and then go run and get them, holding up the line.

Make that cashier your bitch and tell them to grab you some wax paper. Your a customer and they'll do what you ask them to do, its their job.

My point in life is not to make other peoples life or job any more difficult. I'm not gonna make some guy, already workin a shit job, run and get something so rediculous for me, while holding up 3 other people in line. We all just wanna move on.. eat the food and not just stare at it.

It's ridiculous that they don't even have a simple thing like wax paper. You could return at like 9 when there's like no one there.

where you happen to live, is life really that rough for "them"? do you assume that they do not enjoy their job because it's a "shit job", or that everyone aspires to be better? I just wonder, why does it hurt to ask and thank them accordingly, for them doing their job. If I was working a "shit job" as you put it, i would rather interact and help some poor customer, but only if they appreciate the help. what is your experience with asking?

peace and love!
