i like the vikings as well

i was always a fan of them since they were an NFC team so i didnt have any partialities.

Robert Smith pulled is obviously one of the smarter football players with actual skill who played the game.

He got out early enough after a great career that he can be pretty sure he'll be able to walk when he's sixty.

oh man its so depressing though


when guys leave at the top of their career.  He was coming off his highest performing year, RIGHT at the beginning of his prime.



Same with Barry Sanders.  He left like two years after his 2000 yard season.

I think they should play without any pads at all.  There would probably be fewer injuries.

the helmets should have external padding as well as internal.

Steelers outplayed them the majority of the game, which was good to see.


but they started collapsing in the 4th quarter again.  Those turnovers were pretty damn lucky but they came at the perfect time.


Pittsburgh's offensive line played much better than i expected, especially running the gap.




What a fantastic win, i am super happy now.

Wow, no wonder the steelers are so good when they have the ref's making bullshit calls.  The Vikes should have won that game.  What a piss poor excuse for a team Pittsburgh is when they have the referees making them win.  How sad.

Up untill the 4th quarter, the steelers were outplaying the vikes.


The 1st quarter, the vikings were held to 3 3-and-outs in their own territory, while pittsburgh drove into the vikings red zone and got the first score.


In the 2nd quarter both teams drove on each other for TD's.  But both went 3 and out on subsequent drives.


The steelers also held the majority of ball possession in the 3rd quarter, while the vikings only had the ball once for a field goal score.

All of which doesn't account for the bad tripping (which there was none) call when we scored.

We had the game right there. It was all clock play after that.  I can't get over how bad that team cheats.
