I have fished. I've caught fish with hideously deformed and worn out lures that luremakers would swear up and down couldn't work because YOU NEED A NEW ONE. Almost all of fishing lure marketing has nothing to do with catching fish. If it did you would see a lot more science.
Which has nothing to do with my understanding of manufacturers' motivation. They do not get paid per fish. They get paid per fisherman. Of course, it doesn't hurt if the lure works. Even dumbasses will catch on eventually.

This is definitely going to be the toughest game of the season for both teams.
Both teams are explosive and balanced in both offense and defense... When they are on "on"
Both teams have had weaknesses exposed and exploited. Minnesota was destroyed by the Cards earlier in the season much like the Saints were beaten by the Cowboys.
The Saints obviously have home-field advantage, but Brett Favre has more than enough experience in noisy situations like that. At the same time, no matter how much experience he has, it is going to be tough to play in the Dome.
Close fucking game. I pick the Saints, but that's obvious. This is going to be a close one.

I think its safe to say that at this point, there's nothing Favre hasn't seen.
This game should be great.

The last time the Jets and Vikings were in the Championship (1998), they both lost.

I hope Reggie can string together two great games. I read an article earlier saying his knee surgery had hampered him and he only just started feeling 100% after the bye week. I kind of got the feeling reading between the lines that he had also been holding back some worried about re-injuring the knee. And he decided to blast the rust out of the cylinders during the Cardinals game. I wish he had done that earlier but each person knows his own body the best. He might have been too cautious and got into a rut of under performance. I think with Reggie his poor performances are usually more of a mental thing.
I want to see more of this:

I think the Saints as a team reminded everyone who they are last week.
Looking forward to the Vikes!!

All i can say is the Saints better bring their A game Both these teams have good ass defensive teams
Well winners can lose and things can get strained But whatever you change, you know the dogs remain. One world, it's a battleground One world, and we will smash it down One world ... One world
This game is gonna be a huge smash mouth battle and i cant wait until kickoff

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
