One image that sticks with me is the referee helping Farve get his shoulder pads back under his jersey.
Another is this:

I will say one thing, the Vikings and the Saints should both be in the superbowl.

I can't sleep.
I'm too wired after that game.
Hey, you rooted for your team and were pretty classy. Hats off to the Vikings for a great season. Saints had to lay the wood on Favre to have a chance. I didn't like that aspect of the game but it had to be done.
Yeah, that was the Super Bowl for many people. As a Mississippi native and neighbor to Favre this was not my ideal scenario..I would have much rather had a rematch with the Cowboys and crushed them and the evil Jerry Jones but it is what it is.
This Super Bowl should see awesome ratings. Peyton Manning and a fresh team in the Saints with new faces.
This is how it should be.

-------------------- < I have logged in this once so that I can set the "last seen" feature up. let the faggots flow forth into OTD and have it. Its funny how they all grew nuts after I left. I'm not here, I'm not reading, but I urge you all to keep melting down over me. I know, I hurt alot of people, and they deserved it. epic win for me, epic fail for you. ythan, you rock dude. i feel that my time at the shroomery was very positive and enjoyable, but this site is no longer for me. im not mad or upset or disappointed, i just want no part in a pg rated faggot festival. <

Where'd you get that lighter?
I'll be over in five minutes.
Just as soon as they get this teleportation thing worked out.

I'm wearing my Saints divisional champs shirt right now.
Music I'm listening to right now to try to sleep:
I've got blonde on blonde on my portable stereo..
It's a lullaby from a giant golden radio

im not the one that tried to take a well earned victory away from a team through whining about some illogical point. way to bitch out instead of admitting you are a dumbshit that knows dick about the game.

Yeah seriously... you can be a sore loser, you can try to piss on everyone's parade, you can belittle everything that happened including the signs waved in the stands, OR you can accuse other people of being butthurt.
But you can't do both.

Fuck them. I got no time for butthurt losers.
They're irrelevant.
The only thing that matters is the awesomeness of the Saints.

It goes both ways. If the Vikes would have won you guys would be bitching about something too.
HiccupingPenis- That Pass interference call was BS on Leber. Sorry dude. It was a damn good game though, my heart was pounding throughout. I'll give it to my vikes though (which i've been a fan of FOREVER, I live in MN) if we wouldn't have coughed up the ball so damn much the score would have been waaaaaaaay different.
At least we didn't loose by the best field goal kicker in the league missing the one that counted again. haha.
Good job Saint's, you deserve it.

As a lifelong Saints fan I can feel that pain. I am feeling no pain right now though and sleep eludes me.

Just as an aside and because I can't sleep I wanted to expand a bit on the city of New Orleans. It has been a lifelong love affair for your man and basically New Orleans has saved me. I grew up in a dirt poor area in Mississippi and the only culture I had was in that fair city. And what a culture it is.
This may sound strange but there is a certain vibe when you arrive in a town. EVERY Devery time I set foot in New Orleans some part of me relaxed and melted into the surroundings. A generous dose of the spirits certainly helped but it was much more than that. I dunno. You'd have to go there to understand. They let you be YOU.
One story. Some years ago me and some friends headed down to New Orleans. It was the weekend of the Sugar Bowl. Well I needed to take a leak and so out I went ..I got swept up into the wall-to-wall crowd and lost my friends. Hopelessly. No way to get home. I never pay attention ( at least then) to where the car is parked. Hours pass by as I try to find my friends, my ride home.
I got moved by the crowd into the Cafe Du Monde. I remember this like it is yesterday. I am staring into the French Quarter as the sun rises, desperately searching for my friends when I hear someone behind me. It is Rachele. The girl I've been dating. And obsessed about. I didn't even know she was in New Orleans. And there she is. Out of how many thousands of people there she is.
What are the odds?
Don't tell me New Orleans isn't magical.
I know better.
We are going to the Super Bowl and we are going to win it.
