Lots of feelings about this game. I'm from south Mississippi. Brett Favre was my neighbor for many years in "the Kill" as Brett's hometown, Kiln, MS is known locally. (The "N" is silent). He was an all right guy. These days he is probably pretty much what most people think he is as a human being. His teams played my teams in high school. They usually won. Ok they almost always won. I thought we were rid of him after high school. But oh no. He signed with USM for four more years. Then he beat my college team just about every freakin year! I still have memories of him running around down there just killing us!
Well my school dropped USM from our schedule shortly after the Favre years.
Then my Saints were never much good enough to compete with his best teams until recently so it wasn't a problem.
Until now. Now he's in my team's way again.!!! I just cannot believe that after all these freaking years! It's a strange mixture of pride and annoyance.
Bottom line for me: He's had his time. Saints are past due. It is an incredible accomplishment to reach this point for a 40 year old. I know he wants it all but dammit it's OUR time now. Don't block my team again you old SOB!!
If the Saints HAD to lose to anyone it'd be his team but it won't happen this time dammit!!

Jesus christ you are a goddamn cry baby.
dumbasses. i never said it would be a call against the saints. Im hoping for karma.
on a side note, what are you guys doing in the sports forum anyway? it is obvious you and LS have absolutely no idea about any form of sports whatsoever. you kind of remind me of those guys that dont know dick about shit but you think it helps to cover up your homosexual tendencies by chatting sports so you like to wedge yourself into the conversations so as to pass under the gaydar. do you even have a team redstorm? or are you from detroit or oakland?

Easy on the flames. We all know the two are gay but to flat out call them dumbasses is getting a little close to the ban line.

Find one post of mine in this forum which is factually incorrect. Otherwise, keep it zipped.

To answer your question, in football, the team I rooted for growing up was Green Bay. They're my favorite professional sports team.
I'm currently living in Indianapolis, though, so I also have a soft spot for the Colts.

haha.
oh yeah, and the Saints are FUCKED. Prince wrote a song for the Vikes just for this game called "Purple and Yellow" or some shit from "Purple Rain."
That's it, I don't see how the Saints can compete with Prince.

Saints are the Best team of the decade, didn't you know?
and John Karney apparently still plays for the Saints, according to the Narcissist.

He is still on the team, I don't know if you would consider "kicking consultant" as "playing," though...

Vikings will win. Think about Brett Favr for a second. He won a Super Bowl for Green Bay back in his "prime", something the city of Green Bay has not seen for 30 years. Enter Brett Favr into Green Bay's biggest team rival the Vikings. The Vikings have never ever won a super bowl, they have been there a few times in the 70's but that's it. If the Vikings get past the Saints and win the Super Bowl, Brett Favr will be GOD. PERIOD.
GO VIKINGS LETSS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Vikings 34 Saints 30
Brett Favr 3 TD's, 0 pics.
