gimme score predictions and general discussion.
i still need some more prep time to make a proper analysis, but im saying
saints 27 vikings 17
the only person i am worried about is Allen. that guy has tenacity, even though he is a large douche with his roping steer shit. but we got 315 pounders on the outside. im hoping bushrod can handle him aptly.
everyone but grant is healthy. the vikes looked nasty on the constant blitzes... but if we shut down rice like we did fitzgerald we should be ok.
think about it, the vikings are a lot like the cardinals: a great veteran qb and one badass WR... the only difference is AP is a little better than Hightower or wells.
what i do like is how much pressure the saints put on warner who had a much better o-line in terms of pass protection compared to the vikes. and as for AP, dude is averaging 4.5 a carry, and leads the nfl for RB's in fumbles lost. beanie and hightower have better stats than that.

anyone think ray edwards will be back?
if he stays out then we can call it an even game with grant gone... even in the sense of IR.
gotta hand it to both teams for getting this far with so many healthy... that shit makes for some great games.

Bookies don't predict the score. They try to predict what people are going to think.
Fishing lure manufacturers are not trying to catch fish. They are trying to catch fisherman.

Man if the vikes play anything like they played today they will walk away with the win hands down. They played fucking brilliantly today.

That was an absolute ass kicking but you do realize they're playing against the Saints next week, right?

Also I hope every single ESPN pundit picks the Vikings to win. I hope they say that Reggie won't pick up more than 15 yards, that Bushrod will get flattened, and that Greer and Porter will get beat. I hope everyone brings up the 3 losses and the team history and generally laughs and scoffs right up until kickoff. And then I hope the Vikings return the opening kickoff for a touchdown.

supernovasky said: Haha. Seriously, this is all Saints. AP turns over the ball way too much, and the Saints D are ballhawks (what are we, 2nd in the league in takeaways?). When healthy our defense is VERY stout. Our secondary is sick with Greer and Porter starting and Harper and Sharper in the back. Our linebackers are fully healthy and that showed against Beanie Wells.
I'm not worried at all about Jarred allen. 6 of his sacks came against one team (The GB packers, with a weaaaak offensive line). Think the Saints schedule was easy? The vikings played the following teams:
Browns Lions twice 49ers Rams Chicago twice Seattle
Most of his other sacks came in those games.
Vikings are overrated.
They are 4-4 away from home about to play in the strongest homefield advantage in the league.
That's pretty sound analysis. I, too, have not been overwhelmed by the Vikes. The only thing I'll fault you on is focusing on Allen. He is not the only member of that D-Line. That D-Line is overall probably the best in the league.

I think the Saints have a better O line, D lines are a toss-up but Favre is more likely to throw a wild ball under pressure and Sharper is gonna have some very sticky hands on Sunday

1) bookies of course don't predict the score, but you notice how they are riding the line between a half point on either side in their favor? they make a bettor choose strongly either way.
2) obviously you don't fish.
